    I canny * sleep!

I'm like a kid on Christmas Eve.

When is it acceptable to start drinking before a match? :fear:

Looking forward to tonight although am nervous as *.

We should still go through and I think we will but knowing Celtic we will do it the hard way.

    4-1

Lets knock this mob out! No excuses. If we lose, we maybe need to look at the board/manager.

This talk of this being one of the biggest games of players' and our manager's career is a bit embarrassing. Sure it's extraordinarily important, not only for this year but maybe several to come. But the club should hardly be broadcasting our fears. We don't exactly come off as a team that expects to play in the Champions League.

The Lucky scarf I was talking about bringing tonight - though we haven't lost a game I have brought it to... We have only won each of them by one goal. Shakthar Donetsk, Helsinki, Elfsborg to name a few. What to do? Haha

    Hey everyone!

I can't wait for tonight's clash between a giant and underdog! Parkhead may put the fear of * into Shakhter players but I think that Shakhter will be able to handle the pressure.

By the way, to all those who claimed or cited that Shakhter wants to slaughter a sheep in Glasgow, here's the answer:

Shakhter Karagandy will not sacrifice a sheep before their Champions League play-off second-leg tie against Celtic at Parkhead on Wednesday.

The Kazakh champions caused a stir when they performed the ritual at the Astana Arena the day before their 2-0 first-leg win over Celtic, leading the animal rights group Peta to express its outrage in a strongly-worded letter to Uefa, urging the organisation to punish Shakhter.

Viktor Kumykov, the Shakhter coach, had suggested the sacrifice would be repeated but a Celtic spokesman said: "Clearly this would not happen. Shakhter have spoken to the club and said this is a misunderstanding and made it clear they have no intention whatsoever of doing anything like this."

    Here's the source: http://www.theguardian.com/football/2013/aug/27/shakhter-manager-defends-sheep-sacrificing

Nevertheless, if Shakhter bows out of Champions League, it's not the end of the world for the team.

I still think that Celtic can turn it around but I hope that Shakhter will not give up and show some fight at least and do Kazakhstan proud even if knocked out.

Anyone else think we should be going 3 at the back?

Why would you against a 5-4-1? It is a waste of a player.

First time I'v woke up with butterflies on the morning of a game for a long time. Didn't even feel this way for Barca or Juventus.

This game means so much to so many people, don't let us down Celtic.

Woke up at 4.15am, nervous as *. Decided to pop on the 'Lord of the Wing' DVD to calm my nerves. How I wish we had a player like wee Jimmy Johnstone these days!

Anyway 4-0 win, mon the hoops!

Well there's no point playing 4 at the back against one striker is there?

...eh yeah. That means the full-backs can push into midfield and support the attacks, leaving 2v1. With 3 at the back, you have 3 men back at all times, it is a waste.
