Christ man, I already excluded Celtic players, what more do you want? Surely the fact that a guy can play in the bottom tier of Scottish football just emphasis the point.

Obviously he can't use Championship players, because they have a direct route into the Premiership.......that's the whole reason it would be unfair from a numbers standpoint.

Anyway, I'm glad you agree, it's the most sensible thing you've said so far :50:

Mcgregor was a rangers player and went to turkey.

Arteta had played in Spain and for PSG and rangers.

    Bartley was at arsenal.

Davis. He was an internationalist and had played for Fulham and villa

Vaz te had also played for Bolton
Ate you seriously using these guys, amongst others as justification?

I think Commons shape is pretty poor tbh, but I guess it's all relative.

tbh judging people with my own physique as a base level isn't really fair.

Commons isn't fat. He put a picture up on Twitter with his top off and he's ripped.

You speak good sense on here most of the time but the wool has been well and truly pulled over your eyes, we are currently in the healthiest state we have ever been in, that is fact.

The money that has been pumped into the club the last 2 years has us in a very healthy state, we have virtiualy been debt free for over a year as reported in febuary by the chairmen below.

    http://fcbusiness.co.uk/news/article/newsitem=2258/title=champions+league+revenue+boost+for+celtic

we have increased turnover by a whopping 71% not to mention that was before season tickets were purchased 42000 generating around £12 million not to mention our many sponsors, ie multi million pound magners deal thought to be worth around £4 million.

Then there,s the £20 odd million we have just brought in for selling our top players. club merchandise cl qulifying games and getting to the group stages will generate another £20 million at least.

suggest people stop listening to there rangers pals or hun media and go with the facts.

    What are you talking about?

He was an internationalist?? * man, how does the fact he played international football even factor into this? :smiley-laughing002:

Never heard of this guy. If Lenny and Park rate him, that's good enough for me. I remember being distinctly underwhelmed when we signed some guy I'd never heard of from Duisburg back in 1998. From the description he sounds interesting. His physical fitness is one of the quickest and easiest things for our coaches to fix. Let's wait and see!

What relevance does he have to league 1?!

He was already playing at a higher level!

Are you seriously comparing Lubo Moravcik, to the potential signing (now very unlikely to happen, thank *) of Lee Tomlin?

You can't just throw out the 'Oh we once signed a great player we all thought would be *' argument every time we're on the verge of signing someone *. When we signed Moravcik, he had made a combined 75 caps for Czechslovakia and Slovakia. This guy is a fat, League One, version of Paddy McCourt.

You do realise we were comparing ex-SPL players currently in the premiership to ex league 1 players currently in the premiership........and Davis is an ex SPL player.

It's like beng in the twilight zone here sometimes. :smiley-laughing002:
