    Unless he's scored at least 25 goals a season for at least 3 seasons, I don't even want to consider a league 1 player.

    Really? You do know he said SPL not including Celtic?

    I doubt you could fill a 5 a-side team.

    However I do agree that SPL is better than league 1.

    For * sake almighty.

    Hooper was one of the top scorers in the league, outperforming the likes of Andy Carroll, and was also a very pacey, fit 21 year old when we signed him!

    There's literally zero comparison whatsoever.

    This Tomlin chap has 38 goals in over 130 appearances.
    That is nowhere near good enough for Celtic.

    If he came he would be worse than Stokes, Watt, Pukki and Sammy even though Sammy is * upfront.
    I would also put Balde above him as at least he's shown something in pre-season and he's young with time to grow.

    The comparison is terrible. Hooper was one of the highest scorers in a league above where Tomlin plays.

    Speroni - wasnt direct to prem
    Aluko - wasnt direct to prem
    Arteta - wasnt direct to prem
    Adam - wasnt direct to prem
    Fletcher - wasnt direct to prem
    Cowie - wasnt direct to prem
    Vaz Te - wasnt direct to prem

    Bartly - was a prem player on loan in the SPL, was always going back to the EPL. Didnt even make 5 prem appearances.
    Edu also made only one game before being booted out of stoke.

    Basically your left with a few Zombies and the Hamilton Boys when you use your own rules.
