    We should sign this guy, apparently he's having trouble at his current club and seems a bit cocky but has a decent record, could maybe get him on the cheap now. I think we beat his club in the CL last season at home but he was really quiet, think Wanyama just outmarked him to be honest but might be what we need. If we could sign Tomlin though I'd just forget about him.

    I would be extremely underwhelmed if we signed this fat *.

    There are plenty of other good strikers at that level who we could get for cheaper than £1.2m, probably with better records than Tomlin too.

    Peterborough chairman Darragh MacAnthony is clearly not too chuffed with Celtic's approach for Lee Tomlin - with the Scottish champions still trying to pry him away from the Posh, tweeting: "I used to be a Celtic fan. Not after today! What a day!"
    There might be a few St Johnstone fans laughing up their sleeves at that one after Peterboro's failed bids for Stevie May.

    Todor Nedelev went to FSV Mainz for 2.64million and we're in for this guy instead. We might have missed out on someone who will go for serious money in the future and been really entertaining to watch.

    Anyway Tomlin is on 6 goals in 6 games with 5 assists. Looks like he's lost a bit of weight pre-season. Similar to Commons attacking midfielder/striker, but on the other side of the pitch. Reckon it would be quite a good signing.
