    Was thinking of Finnbogasson being picked up for something like £750k from Helsingborgs and now being touted at £5 million + a season later.

    You'll know more about usual prices than I do though :50:

    True enough. Even though I've grew up supporting Celtic I still try and get to Derry City games at the Brandywell (Derry's home stadium) as often as I can, but there's always just the same group of us who would go. There's actually people in the city too who would say they don't have any feelings towards the football club and take no interest in it. If we come back from the game and talk about it, there's usually someone who will bring up a game from the EPL they watched and try to compare it :smiley-laughing002:.

    Anyway, just sign Pukki and Finnbo to * :icon_mrgreen:

    We played well today against the Dons but I think we need to add to our team. Shakter Karagandy will be a much better team than Aberdeen, playing the team we played today I think we will be taking a BIG risk, anyone one else think so? If we can sign Pukki and Finnbogason I will eat my socks (Well try to) :snack:

    Looks like we'll be struggling to get this guy unless we offer over what Celtic obviously think he is worth.

    Maybe we should just leave him, hopefully beat Karagandy, and then sign Finnbogason after we qualify for the CL group stages.

    lennon didny look too confident about gettin this done anytime soon. shalke clearly not budging. can see us getting him but im sure lenny is desperate to have him available for 2nd leg. seems celtic and john park wanted this guy for some time now, going by what peter grant was saying

    Guy on BT Sport who was doing the Bundesliga just said that he is unhappy and looking to get out of Schalke (and he mentioned it for Celtic fans). We're in a great position to sign him then.

    Haven't seen him mentioned in the Scandinavian media - again, that means nothing. But if he was the next big thing we'd know about it.

    One of Finland's official languages is Swedish (alongside Finnish) and I read the Swedish language version of YLE (state broadcaster) regularly. :50:

    But you're right, "Nordic" is the correct term to describe Finland, not "Scandinavian", although Swedish is a Scandinavian language, hence my use of the word.
