Time for someone from Celtic to go and present the club as an ideal place for Huddlestone. He needs to be wearing green-tinted specs by next week.

Never been impressed by him, but I suppose he would probably do well up here. Think a few people are overrating him a tad, I'd rather have Wanyama back.

He would, but I agree with the other part as well. A load of Spurs fans don't rate him. I don't particularly. He's like a quarterback in the NFL. He can stand still playing stunning 40 yards passes all day long but he's got to be the least mobile player going. He looks like he struggles a bit with the pace of English football.

I don't think he's scored in a couple years so his shot can't that be good. Seems a bit of a MOTD player in that respect.

Doesn't he always play alongside a defensive midfielder? A bit like Xabi Alonso.

I can't see the comparison with Wanyama at all. He isn't that sort of player. More Ki than Wanyama.

Aye a bigger version of Ki, cannot think why he would be on 20k though i would think at least 35/40. Good player though wouldnt mind him in the hoops.

No thank you, he was a great prospect when he first burst onto the scene, but after some bad injures and a shocking appointment with the barbers he has went the same way as many young English players, believing in his own hype, would rather a more hungry player.

He's class. Would be perfect for the likes of Boerrigter, Forrest, and Balde.

I think thats pretty fair. Good player but more a Ki type player and we have much more pressing needs at center back and up front.

Strongly doubt we could afford his wages. Sadly, we are just unable to sign guys with his sort of profile for that reason.

All our signings seem to be £3m max. I think if the right player came along, fee wise, we would be willing to spend alot more than this but problem is when you're spending £5m-£7m on a player his wages would be far too high for our structure, hence the fact we only sign players up to about £3m.

I'm sure I remember him saying that he wasn't going to get it cut until he scored again. That could just be utter pish though, so I wouldn't take it as gospel. Maybe someone can confirm.

Huddlestone is a guy that's not really been noticed. He's no world beater, but he comes from a very high level. He is however, carrying a fair amount of dodgy injury history, some of which involved 2 knee operations.

He's had a recurring knee problem every season for the last 4 years, maybe the operations have fixed the problem, maybe they haven't.

So i think it's a risk. £20,000 a week can still get a really top class player from another league

    What!?

You mean to tell me you can't appreciate 400 backward and 600 sideway passes a game??

Not as easy as it looks.

    There's no pleasing some people!
