Well Stokes bounces off any main striker very well. Pukki, I don't know but it sems plausible.

That's all I've been saying to everybody all summer. Why the * would you want rid of Stokes and/or Commons. You get rid of the *, not the best.

Then your best can duke it out with the new guys, if they lose their place then so be it, we become stronger as result. They can either fight for their place or move on at the next window and then you try to bring in stronger again.

Ronny done the right thing, kept the best and shipped out the underachievers. Now we have genuine competition.

A do agree he thrives when playing with someone who like to be in the 6 yard box. Like the Thumb. A thought they played well together when Griffiths joined.

Actually believe had we started with the two them up front it would of been enough in the qualifiers to get us through

Griffiths is a poorer footballer (not striker) and he's a *. Šćepović and Guidetti certainly aren't second strikers, I know that much. You said you'd be happy with the same quartet with Griffiths in place of Stokes so surely you think similarly? :smiley-laughing002:

And you know for as fact Scepovic is a main striker? That's what a was asking earlier. What's he like pacey? Poacher? Good link up play?

Griffiths wont be anywhere near the main striker spot this season, he will be third choice at best.

Stokes though can play left and centre of the three behind the striker. He has a much better chance of nailing down a spot than Griffiths.

No, mate. Never heard of him a few weeks ago and wouldn't recognise him if I passed him in the street. I'm just going on the descriptions on here.

All of the finishes I've seen from Šćepović have been in the six yard box (some smart finishes to boot). Don't know what his general play's like or how quick he is. Scored a couple of headers but hard to judge just how good he is in the air.

No a don't know what kind a strikers they are that's why a asked you. Who said both Pukki and Stokes would bounce of Scepovic. Yet you haven't seen him play.

A would much rather see Stokes here than Pukki a was just trying to see who would bite:smiley-laughing002:

If a was to rate our forwards even though a haven't seen the two new guys I'll still take a guess..

    1. Scepovic
    2. Griffiths
    3. Guidette
    4. Stokes

    Just an assumption.

Guidetti worse than Griffiths? I'm saving that for the end of the season. :86::smiley-laughing002:

Agree he has more chance of starting for the reasons you said. And the fact he's started the main man in the qualifiers ahead of the Thumb.

All though we don't need Stoke behind the striker he's no better than Kris Commons there. We also have Berget Wakaso Tonev and Forrest who can all play on the left or right or centre. If they turn out to be decent signings of course.

    Would be great if true.

"Leigh Griffiths is the best finisher I have ever seen" was the words of Ronny Deila.

If Guidette is half as good a finisher as Griffiths and a better player were in for a real treat!

Did you just ignore that part?:smiley-laughing002: A haven't seen this Guidette. And a doubt you watched him either in his one great season in the Dutch league a few year ago.

If Griffiths is the best finisher Deila's ever seen, why hasn't he played him? I think there's a smidgen of exaggeration there. Deila's never seen an El Clásico? :smiley-laughing002:
