How did Tommy G, help us in the CL?

It's not about your name or what club your from, it's about passion, drive & commitment.
One of our best performers in CL was Lee Naylor - everyone thought he would be * cause he was from a * club & cost less than a million, same with Sno (untested at CL level).

Killen has looked good against us & could do a job, he's young & hungry enough to improve further - how is this a bad thing?

He's a low risk signing, based on Celtic's good knowledge of how he plays & what his mentality is - he could prove to be better than many other players who cost £3-4 million.

Thats just what I was saying it's better to get a low risk player who will have drive and passion rather than a professional from brazil etc who can't cut it in the spl becuase he lacks passion and drive.

Where did the lisbon lion's come from eh all 30 miles from celtic park.

At first I thought Killen playing for the Hoops:eek:but he's on a bosman,No transfer fee involved just his wages+contract(hopefully just a 2 year deal)Remember he was badly injured in January at Aberdeen and killen might not be the same player.

Well it looks like Miller,Magic,Deek,Beattie are all for the off.

We should get £2m for Miller and £2.5m for Magic or more and about £1m for Beattie and about the same for Deek-£1m(I hope Deek stays as i think hes a better player than McGeady in that position)So that gives us £5.5m to spend on a top class striker ffs get BEALLAMY ASAP for £6.5m easy.

All we need to do if we sold Miller+Magic+Beattie is put £1m to the deal and thats it we would get a cracking player for the CL adventure and the goals he+JVOH would sore in the SPL would be over 50 goals between them easy!!

hes scored like 19 in 32 games so thats good enough for me, plus when he has better players around him it should only help his game

Killen will be good back up for VoH aand as many have said... he's young, commited, hungry etc. He'll get better and he's very low risk.

Lot's (including myself) have made noise on this forum about Bellamy and others like him style wise. But VoH remains the only "big striker" we have who can "heedy a baw". Chris Killen wouldn't be bad signing at all. Better than Beja-*-lloun.
