Yeah. This is a fact ignored by tv pundits in england when we play epl sides. The one sided financial playing field. *

When a team controls possession and has a load of chances to score that generally means they dominated the game. Going by your definition rangers mustve dominated every game on their way to manchester,....... which is ofcourse BOLLOCKS.

Loved the game yesterday and the atmosphere from our stand was brilliant. Liverpool sang once and it was YNWA. Other than that you didn't hear a peep from them. Surprised we won but was delighted as I despise that club. Good day over all :50:

No need to get the ouija board out and invoke the filth, it's just a discussion on the internet - you know, like two bald men arguing over a comb.

My 'definition' wasn't a definition, it was simply to say that our youth team and Lennon deserved praise for their ability and their tactics, and that neither were as out of their depth as you seemed to claim. Liverpool were outclassed by a youth team playing good football, is that so hard to accept?

You seemed to be taking the view that Liverpool were stampeding around bossing us off the pitch and that we lucked out, which I think is a terrible under-estimation of our side and our manager, but not a surprising one from a Celtic fan when we play an EPL side.

Credit where credit's due I would have thought.

I said from general play and chances created liverpool dominated most of the game, thats just what happened and its not a slight on celtic which your making it out to be, celtic defended well and the keepers were excellent, despite liverpool understandably controlling the bulk of the ball they were periods were the bhoys in the middle of the park passed the ball well and retained possession which considering the quality they were up against deserves credit, and upfront ofcourse big balde held his own against liverpools defenders and particularly gave young wisdom a torrid time. Thats what we did well but it doesnt change the fact liverpool still controlled most the game, as they should have with nearly a full strength team out. My posts are theyre in black and white so no point in you trying twist my words btw.

Fair enough. The difference in our views is in fact primarily one of emphasis - I'm emphasising Celtic's positives, and you're not.

And just so we're clear: giving my opinion on what you wrote 'in black and white' is hardly 'trying to twist' your words.

For the record i wasnt emphasising anything, you implied celtic dominated the game and i said they didnt, i was disagreeing with your post because it wasnt true.

For the record? It's just the internet - no one cares what I, you or anyone else thinks. Nobody gives you or me marks or prints off what we write to compare examples of anonymous rhetorical pwnage.

If you want to say Liverpool dominated the game, go ahead. I haven't stopped you or twisted your words or done anything that has prevented you expressing this view to its fullest. However, I disagree and believe that Celtic dominated the game in any meaningful sense of the word.

I don't really understand why you would expend so much energy trying to refute this, but it seems important to you to talk up Liverpool rather than Celtic's youth side who were the better team on the day in all senses of the word.

    Different priorities I suppose.

How many Celtic fans were there? Can just see a sea of red from the highlights.

It seemed 60-65/40-35 per cent Liverpool to Celtic fans. There was definitely a Liverpool majority in the crowd from the camera side. Don't know if our fans congregated on the other side though.

You could always just agree with him.

    Then you'd both be wrong.

I just said the way the game went, which was accurate, wasnt trying to talk up anyone, its just what happened.

Zaluska, Fisher, Mouyokolo, Balde and Irvine were all terrific. Such a shame that we have two top class right back's in front of Fisher because he's very promising.

What a bunch of nonsense. How many guys on the park actually PLAYED in any competitive games for us this season? Izzy, Lustig, Kayal, Stokes. They got beat by our youth team, period.
