    Strathan was installed at Celtic for a couple of weeks before Jackie ran away. In fact it would even has been worse of Jackie to head off if we were managerless
    The least you can expect of your long serving players is a little respect . Jackie knew he was pulling a fly one , or he wouldn't have rang Celtic Park on his dash South .

    All the other players got there contracts sorted before the new manager came in. We left Jackie in the dark and played on his loyalty, we * him about, majorly.

    I thought N'Guemo was quite good. Still playing at a good level for Bordeaux and will be at the World Cup with Cameroon.

    Fortune was a decent player, not a natural finisher bit people were harsh on him due to the price tag. Decent wide right of a front 3.

    Thought Jarosik could have been used better in his time with us. Decent on the ball but always wide left or off a striker. done well in the champions league winning Nakas free kicks vs Man Utd in 2006, played vs Milan and also scored the peach vs Shakhter in 2007.

    Scott McDonald. very good finisher in the SPL. his attitued got pretty poor in 2008/09 during the barren spell for JVH and Samaras, he was trying to do too much and becoming frustrating. Goals in the CL and big goals against Rangers RIP.

    Most people would have thought that having got his testimonial early and verbally informed he would get a new contract, he would have given WGS a chance but no , Jackie cleared his conscience by ringing from down the road .
    Funny enough I thought Jackie was above average right back but he was better in midfield .

    Jiri jarosik is a good shout,I remember him out wide cutting in far too much and anyone who saw him mainly at birmingham would know he wasn't a left sided mid and should have been used much more bang in the centre bombing forward and timing runs as he did so many times in england and letting fly from range..

    Deffo one we could have gotten more out of in a different system,position..
