Yes. They accuse people with different opinions from the majority as being Tims. As do a lot of people on here accuse people of being huns.

If by huns you mean the scum element of rangers fans. Then no they're not. But they certainly are rangers fans.

Madness, sheer madness looking at those sums. How did they fund themselves in the 90's, was it an overdraft? Where did that money go. Plus if im not mistaken, the debt Murray shifted over to MIH should still be in existence today, which is currently in the process of being wound up.

Really makes you wonder how much debt they really accumulated over the years.

It's sickening why some people pine over their demise. I * love it. They forgot what they were and how lowly their attendances truly were in the 70's and 80's. Scottish football was much better when they were gutter and now is starting to progress again when they are in the gutter.

Their bile, their identity crisis, how stupid they are, yet Scottish football panders to them as if they are something - a 'big' club.

    Their suffering is highly amusing.

    I know.

In 2000 they got £20million from King and £20million from Lewis and in 2004? I think MIH took on £70million of their debt, so that was £40million of outside investment and £70million of debt they didnt need to pay, that still left them in £18million of debt, which they started to reduce but after we cruised to 3 in a row under Strachan they lost the plot again and gave Walter Smith allsorts for Thomson, Mendes, McCulloch, Davis, Lafferty, Miller, Cousin etc and went back up to about £27million in debt before Lloyds got involved and started trying to get a grip.

Thats before we even think of the EBT's which probably saved them about £30million(About £15million in Tax and about £15million in extra wages they'd have had to pay if paying tax). So you're looking at between 2000-2012, they really spent about £170million that they never had.

Then you could take into account that all that overspending got them into Champions League football which brought in more income that they'd never have had if playing fair and square.

You could say easily in the 2000s up to their death they were spending £12-15million a year more than they could afford to compete with us. As if they didn't spend that they'd have basically had no chance of the League, which means we'd have kept qualifying for the Champions League and been way out of sight of them.

Your brain works very slow if it takes you this long. Said it at the beginning. They're my mates. What kind of person wouldn't defend their mates?

Now I think you should try not generalising people. You might lose that nasty case of bitter *, you clearly have.

Holy * man. Really angers me when I read it, laid bare like that. I mean do the SMSM and their fans not understand just how much they cheated? They truly * Scottish football but we are all supposed to pander to them.

Makes it funnier knowing how little they actually won, despite spending about £170m over that period as you say. That is not even thinking about the 90's when ENIC invested £40m in them and they had a custy overdraft with Bank of Scotland.

Re-iterates the point I have previously made. They won't be able to compete with us, at least not for a decade. We will achieve 10 in a row. I just can't see how they will compete with us in the forseeable future, they make very little in revenue, their naming rights are punted, they don't have their merchandise rights, their stadium is smaller. They don't have a worldwide fanbase and the Scottish league has little in the way of revenue. Yet some folk are * themselves with excitement for their entry to the top league. :56:
