A Bit Of Prison Justice...

Discussion in 'TalkCeltic Pub' started by Armagh-Bhoy, Feb 18, 2013.

  1. Torturing a child ain't legal either and unfortunately this country doesn't offer punishment to reflect the crime. Just as well the inmates do, still useful for something.

  2. Then why do they get thrown into prison?

    Like I said, hypocrisy.

  3. I am not going to shed a tear for the horrible disgusting * but we live in a democracy and the majority of citizens do not agree with capital punishment. That is why it was abolished.

So it should not be acceptable for it to happen in any institution unless it is conducted by the state.

Without law there is no freedom.

  4. I don't condone prison violence, but similarly, I won't lose any sleep over this scumbags pain either. What I do hope is not the case, though, is that he may have been targeted because of his race.

  5. Craziest thing I've read in a while.

If he never got murdered inside he would - come out, get a fake identity, police protection, benefits and everything paid for him. Fair?

  6. This.

  7. POWs.

  8. It's the law. We vote for it. And I don't think you understood what without law there is no freedom actually means.

Don't see very many of you out protesting the fact that criminals are able to do that, if you all did, we maybe wouldn't be having this discussion now.

You're banging on about working within and respecting the laws of the state, yet you support dissident republican groups doing the exact opposite,it's very hypocritical. This man deserved death way more than any PSNI constable or British soldier,I cannot understand why you're so against this at all tbh.

  10. I find the whole prison morality thing a bit weird.

Prisoner A: Murdered a couple in their mid 20's
Prisoner B: Sexually abused a child

Prisoner A = respected 'hard man' on his wing.
Prisoner B = abused by other inmates and staff.

Prisoner A: 'I hate nonces, lowest of the low'.

Prisoner A assaults Prisoner B, public rejoices, 'justice served'.

    Umm, what? Okay then... :97:

  11. Two citizens do not have the right to take another citizens life. It is murder and will be treated as such in criminal proceedings I take it.

I have not said I support dissident republican groups. There is no such thing as a dissident republican.

In your opinion he deserved death more than a British Solider. Something again that has no relevance to the thread.

Again I am going to say it - I do not care about this murder in the slightest. I care about people seeming to call this justice when it clearly isn't. It is a vicious act albeit on a scumbag.

  12. there is an easy solution to stop this sort of prison justice. Firing squad

  13. Nail on the head.

From having actual experience of these places usually it comes down to people just wanting to be a hero while at the same time being able to perpetrate a violent act.

I remember distinctly a man who looked a bit strange, fitting the bill for a typical paedophile getting tormented throughout his sentence and even attacked. The guy was in for fraud or some *. He wasn't a nonce.

There's no such thing as a dissident Republican, whatever, there's not even any point in discussing this further.

  15. Absolutely sickening reading what he done. Hope his death was slow and agonizing.

  16. I can assure you I do understand it's pretty self explanatory. But in this country the opposite meaning of your original quote is probably more accurate :50:

IF YOU ALL DID - so you think ex-child molesters and murderers deserve fake identities and a new cosy little life where they can't be harmed?

Murdering someone in there 20's won't just be for nothing ( as wrong as it sounds there will be something behind it ) but beating a 2 year old to death with a pole is worthy of a slow, painful death.

Yeah well the bible may say different in this case. I think if you found out someone did all of this to your child you might feel differently. I get where you're coming from that two wrongs don't make a right but if the law wasn't so weak people like him wouldn't get such an easy time of it. People know that a life sentence rarely means that and that these guys still get to lead a relatively comfortable life irrespective of their loss of liberty. A child doesn't get to live it's life but scum like him do.

  18. Well........he was killed by other convicts

  19. The Bible says a lot of things.

Of course, however those who carried out this offence weren't related to the child. Their motives for doing it need to be questioned.

Would you like to see the death penalty introduced for these crimes?

    Yes and it is wrong.
