    He's not got a clue about Celtic, whenever Celtic play he's usually on Sky Sports doing other games. Only time he ever seen us is when he used to do Celtic V Dead FC games on Sky or when we play in the Champions League. Be lucky if he sees 10 Celtic games a season.

    had to laugh at charlie nic but i kinda got what he was saying think we are rejecting offers from norwich that are like 3-4 mil upfront with 1-2 mil of add ons where as if they had to offer a lump sum of 6mill like what sunderland have done with graham we might think about it. BUT still naa * off with any offers this late utter joke!!

    The point Nicholas was trying to make was we would be interested in a £6m offer with the cash up front rather than any of this installments or add-ons pish that Norwich are offering. He's still a * and he's still * wrong though :icon_mrgreen:

    I don't have a problem with him at all and at his best he was entertaining to watch. The Benfica game was an example of how effective he could be. I just think we relied on him a bit much and I am unsure how he would fit into the current team. I would guess a lot of Hooper's goals have been from a quick ball in the box between the CB'S and the keeper whereas Aiden liked to take on a man and maybe hang a cross to the back post.
    This may work better with a JVOH/Hartson kind of player but our current forwards work better playing quick passing in and around the box.

    I've never really been a McGeady fan but looking at the big picture, he would be an amazing signing. "No final product" is utter bullshit, as seen near the end of his time at Celtic and his Ireland career.

    We can't sell Hooper now unless its for silly money. Rejecting bids is all well and good and I really want us to keep him, but if Norwich roll up with an unrejectable offer at 9pm and we have to scour for replacements that doesn't put us in a good place. Clubs will then know we are desparate and have money so they will bump up prices. Plus Hooper is one * of a tough player to replace.
