Probably had to play today in an effort to get game time prior to Benfica game. He'll play on Wednesday and we probably won't see him again until Motherwell on the 29th.

Disagree, his passing has come on a ton IMO but yesterday it wasn't there. Still doesn't look fit .

He made the first goal and was our best player in the first half easily. Can't believe the way folk are so against him on here. There were far worse performers yesterday.

Don't get me wrong im a big fan of broony he bring's alot to the team and we do seem to play better when he's in the side but imo his passing could be better, most of the time it's the the short easy ones that let him down.

I think it's a bad idea to wheel him out for the European games.

If there's any games he is suited to it's the SPL.

He would be out of his depth against Benfica even if he had been playing regularly and was on form - which he ain't.

I totally agree with the playing regularly and form point.

However I totally disagree with Broony not being suited to European games. I know his passing could be better but lets face it if we try to play a passing game against Benfica or Barca we lose. To beat these teams we need 100% effort, for 90 mins. Broony gives that when fit.

Brown wouldn't be out of his depth against any team in the world.

I take it you can't remember Scott Browns last game against Benfica?

So some people here do not rate Brown. Ok everyone has a right to their own opinion.
Seems to me that every Manager that he has played under rates him.

or another way to put it.

Some guy sitting at home with access to a computer writes some drivel about something
he knows a little about. Does not rate Brown

Some guy that has spent the majority of has life involved in football at the highest level. Whos job depends on getting results. Does like Brown.

    Good enough for me.

Captain Broony get right intae them.

Browns exactly the type of player we need for Europe he gets in peoples faces and makes them make mistakes by shutting them down quickly

Totally agree with this, high tempo football, closing down players, putting them under pressure etc is what we need to do especially in European games.

Wednesday is actually the kind of game that will suit him, he is best deployed as a 'spoiler' and shutting the game down and has done so to good effect in the past in CL games.

I would tend to think he makes faces better though i must be honest I have never seen him make the oposition make a mistake, maybe he is like me, as for some on here think I get in there face and yet they use other words to decribe my play. :celt_2:

Agreed, MOTM for sure. Even Butch will be pleased with that one!
