    In a season when League 2 Bradford have reached the League Cup final, knocking out 2 Premiership teams along the way, the big story of the competition will be Hazard kicking a ball boy. Internet's going crazy just now.
    2 possible views of the incident:
    1. Wee * lies on the ball to waste time, Hazard gets impatient and kicks the ball out from under him and the aforementioned * rolls around as if he's been shot like a *,
    2. A professional footballer kicked a small child.

    From the way it looked to me he was going to get it when it bounced off the bill boards until Hazard came up to him.

    No way it was a Cantona or a Diouf moment but it was still unnecessary. I just think it was ultimately a stupid thing Hazard got himself caught up in. Was always going to have the danger of getting himself booked or sent off. Plus my hatred for Chelsea probably comes strongly into play.

    Don't disagree the kid was milking it though. Was genuinely acting like he had been shot.

    He's getting called a * for bringing the game into disrepute with his blatant attempt at time wasting.

    There's no defending Hazard's rash actions, but the ball boy was being an idiot.

    Simple as that, in my view.

    So you're admitting he hit the ball boy? Even if it was just slight contact?

    My point is that, the ref made the right decision based on what he saw. What he saw was Hazard go to kick the ball/boy and the wee guy roll over in pain.

    Based on that, yes it is a red card.
