He didn't sign the contract. He goes, fuckit. It'll be a bit of a body blow, but he'll get replaced. If he stays brilliant, but i think he's earned his move. I think he wants to go, it's got nothing to do with what we think.

Norwich is a cool place, teams doing well, he can pretty much play every week. With bigger teams, he might not play every week.

Everybody thought Norwich would struggle and they've done quite well.

It's terrible for moral if he goes, but sometimes change is a good thing for everybody. We've certainly got plenty of cover, *, Lenny might have a player in mind that's just as good.

You have to look at it from what we know. He's been offered money on a new deal, they improved the offer, he decided to wait until the window opened. Says to me he wants to go, maybe an improved offer from us changes that, but you just never know what's going on behind the scenes.

This looks like the press have simply seen their manager at our last league match and 2 and 2 together suprisingly they came up with 2.5mill :smiley-laughing002:

If we get a decent offer then take it. He has no doubt done a job for us but is by no means irreplaceable. I actually think he is a little over rated by some.

Wanyama on the other hand would be very hard to replace. Imo obviously.

i also think that it might be a little more difficult to attract players end of the day we are not guaranteed to qualify for cl next season and the domestic is very weak now

Cant see Hooper moving in this transfer window, if the board were to think about selling him it would be for between 8 and 10 million I think, not the measly 2.5 million that was quoted. How much did Blackburn pay for Jordan Rhodes again ?! There is no panic to sell him, he still has 18 months on his contract.

If we get an offer in the region of 10 million I think it'll be very hard for us to keep onto him. I do hope he stays. Until the summer, at least.

The only thing that worries me is if we wait untill the summer and he dosent sign a new contract he will only have 12 months to run this will greatly decrease his value

I'd be majorly disappointed if he left in January.

I don't think anyone should be surprised if Hooper left in January as he is desperate to leave.

His agent has contacted all realistic Prem clubs trying to engineer the move.

In fact Hughton and Chester were at the game to watch Hooper in particular.

It would surprise me if Norwich stumped up enough cash. Bassong was their record signing at 5.5m this summer and they never spend above 3m mark usually.

I think 7m might tempt the board due to him wanting the move and him not signing a new contract.

7m now or less in the summer when he only has a year to go. Tempting!

I think Sunderland or Southampton might be more realistic.
But Hughton was introduced to Celtic officials and talks must have taken place even if not advanced.

You are 1 of 2 people; Lawwell or Gary Hooper.

The only thing that would have been spoken about on this hypothetical meeting was how Mr. Hughton's trip was to Glasgow.

Now stop talking complete and utter *.
