    I'm not picky.
And the idiot ref had the cheek to book Forster because he wasn't going back onto the line yet he does * all about the ball not being on the spot, making the penalty kick a foul ball

    That is * mental.

It was the worse dive I have witnessed in recent years.

How good did Krissy Commons do for the goal, his first touch was immense, drew two players in next to him and then put Hooper through.

Obviously.......that's why it's called the Penalty Spot.

Henrik Larsson is the King of Kings
Gary Parker doing the media instead of Neil

Can imagine Neil not pleased with the referee :smiley-laughing002:

14.06 Can the penalty taker move the ball so it's partly off the spot (for example, to get it out of a rut)?

Law 14 requires the ball to be placed "on the penalty mark". Referees will normally interpret this to mean that the bottom of the ball must be fully in contact with the mark itself, which is a circle 9" in diameter as specified in Law 1. Some movement will be possible, but the referee's word is law.

Basically the ball MUST be touching the penalty spot. The ref has ben incompetent here as well with this ruling.

Always at work for these games so I only get to listen but that was the loudest I've heard CP during an SPL game for a long time after that goal. Could hear how much it meant.

Oh by the way, the referee's ex-hun brother also just happens to be an ex-Motherwell player.

Shocking ref decision about the pen, then booking our keeper because he complaines about the ball being too close to goal and well off pen spot.

    Great goal from celtic though

Motherwell manager Stuart McCall is philosophical about Tom Hateley missing a penalty against Celtic: "I think it's a great save, and we had a shout for a second penalty - but you don't get two here. I'm disappointed not to get something from the game."

Aye, you don't, cause second one was an even bigger dive than the first. :31:

Surprised he didn't make Forster stand 3 yards behind the line as well seeing that.
