    I force a pint of this down on St Patrick's day once a year. Other than that, don't touch the *. I'm a lager man.

    When I seen you had replied to this thread I instantly thought "Daver will be against this, Tennents is our current sponsor. Daver loves Tennents." :56:

    I know of literally no one that drinks Guinness on a regular basis.

    And I spend a large chunk of my time frequenting gutters outside of pubs.

    I like Guinness. I'll only drink it if I'm just popping in the pub for a couple.

    There's no way I could sit and drink it all day.

    Is it not Guinness that own Tennents now? Or is it another Irish brewery?

    If I go into a * pub and there is no John Smiths, Caffreys, Heavy, Best, basically only Guinness, Lager and Cider (That is a * pub IMO). If I don't feel like Cider I'll drink a couple of Guini.

    I actually really like Guinness original but never seen that in the pub.

    It's not Gwynneth, it's the magners / bulmers punters I think amigo.

    Still brewed in Glasgow, obviously (Wellpark.)

    I love Guinness draught but dont like the original. The draught goes down smoothly and I love the taste, nice after taste too but the Original is kinda rough feeling, dont know what it is and more bitter tasting.

    It's just Guinness......but colder :56::56::56::icon_mrgreen:

    Much nicer in my opinion - plus it doesn't take as long to pour on draught :86:

    I do like a can of Tennents or a night on the cans once in a while. It's the lager you grow up with in Glasgow. Used to be 8 half litre cans for a fiver. Quality. 8 cans and a bottle of Silver Merrydown for the night, 10 bags of Pickled Onion Space Raiders, Chicken and MushrOOm Pot nOOdle and a different Barrs gingey bottle each day. Quality times. Back when life was simple and the N64 was the bees baws.

    Think we're the opposite then, ergo enemies :50: Nah, I can enjoy a draught but three at the absolute maximum. I can drink original all night, can drink heavy and red ale all night tOO, well the occasional wake up Cider and of course a wee half every now and then.

    Oh and one more thing about the MYTH.

    In my experience. Guinness in Glasgow and Guinness in Dublin. Tastes the same.
