Nothing to do with being a "scrooge" - it would be a very generous offer if the offer benefited ALL season ticket holders - as is "hinted" in the Celtic FC website:

"AS a special festive thank you to all of our season ticket holders we’d like to offer you the chance to claim TWO complimentary tickets for use by friends or family at either our match at Celtic Park against St Mirren this Saturday, December 15 or the home game against Ross County on Saturday, December 22."

Then goes on to say "Tickets are limited to 5,000 per match, and will be available on a first come, first served basis, so don’t delay in securing your tickets"

I don't have a single thing about a person getting a free ticket - especially for those who perhaps can't afford to get to games, or can't make games regularly, but don't try and * dress it up like its a favour to ALL season ticket holders when there's only 5000 tickets on offer, and especially when they are obviously only trying to boost crowd participation.

Course they're gonna limit it ffs how would it work if they made it truly free for all? They'd do away with seating for a game and we'd have 123000 in Parkhead?!?

    You numpty!

If you can't be happy about your football club giving you FREE tickets to watch the team you love then I don't know what would make you happy tbh.

Where the * did I suggest the club give every season ticket holder two tickets, numpty? If you read my earlier post I suggested another form of goodie, numpty.

So - would I be okay to be unhappy if I didn't get any tickets?

Debate the merits of the offer, good or bad and less of the numpty shouts Bhoys. Don't want to see any numpty's being banned do we?

Oi, * you as well! :icon_mrgreen:

You are angered at the club's misleading title of the offer which I can understand but they're not technically in the wrong, every season ticket holder has a chance to get 2 free tics, but obviously they cannot possibly all get 2 each as there's not enough seats in CP!

You just appear to be picking holes in what is a very fair and good thing for the club to do, and something they really don't have to be doing - or shouldn't be doing even from a business standpoint.

They could be raping all our wallets now with the CL qualification, they could be using our happiness as an excuse to take more money off us but they actually lowered CL ticket prices, are selling that 125 DVD for only a tenner and are giving away tickets to 2 free SPL matches. I daresay outside the German clubs our ticket prices are probably the lowest of everyone left in the CL, certainly a * of a lot lower than the English clubs.

Short of Peter Lawwell and Lenny personally serenading your doorstep with republican christmas carols, alongside bikini-clad Celtic cheerleaders I don't know what the * else you want mate.

No mate, definitely not. Please leave Mr. November alone he doesn't deserve a banning :icon_mrgreen:

You're right Mani. Looking at the online terms they require the names and address's of who the two freebies would be for. I don't see anything sinister in that myself as virtually everyone who buys a ticket these days has to give their contact info and I think even if you do end up on a mailing sales/ information offer you always have the right to unsubscribe.

Nothing in life is truly free, they'll always want something off you whatever company it is but we are basically getting something for free here off one of the elite football clubs in Europe and one of the biggest business brands in the world. Not sure how you can complain but there you go.

    Ah *,it's just clicked!

Celtic are persuading more people to come along to the game so they can spend all their hard earned cash in the clubstore on Xmas presents for people!

Sly f*ckers have got a motive for everything!:47:

5000 people are getting something for free - and good luck to them.

Again - would it be okay to complain about this ever so generous offer if I wasn't able to get any tickets?
