Belfast City Hall Protests: Anger Over Vote

I agree completely with you, the majority of ignorant preaching people down here do about the north thinking they know everything winds me up fiercely, most have never been up north apart from shopping or even talked to anyone who has lived through it.

Most lads up North are more Irish than anyone in the South will ever be.

 

I suppose it is all to do with context. If you were from one of the countries throughout the world (like Ireland.)that had suffered directly at the hands of the British murder machine you may view this flag as being bad as any other flag.

I personally wouldn't have linked the two flags but don't think you could argue that more innocent civilians have been killed by those fighting under the Union Jack than under the Swaticka.

When republicans are rioting they use so called * squads to grab as many republicans as possible, beat the * out of them then charge them with rioting. When loyalists are rioting they just sit back and let the place be destroyed. They were actually shot at last week by a loyalist, they arrested him, but it turns out he 'never actually fired a shot' so he wasn't charged with attempted murder. And that's no joke either. What would happen if that was a republican?

 

More people have been murdered by the British than the Nazis.

It might well be a horrible awakening but it doesn't mean I am in anyway taking away the horrors of what the Nazis did.

Just caught the bbc news, my * Belfast looks like a warzone today, hope you belfast lads on here stay safe.

It defies belief that this is still going on.

 

In fact anyone denying the British being as bad as the *'s are disrespecting all those who have died at hands of its regime over the years.

I dont see why they dont just round them thugs up? The police have not been heavy handed enough with the riots! Its just showing the whole world what a backward and corrupt country Northern Ireland is.

 

Look up what happened in the Short Strand in 2002, cops were just letting the huns * stuff at the estate and were even chatting to them while they were rioting.

 

They aren't heavy handed because they are all mates at the end of the day. The PSNI/RUC have always helped loyalist terrorists with there activities and now is no different. Many of the peelers are * that the flag was taken down so are quite happy to help the loyalists out. What other reason would they sit back and let the city be destroyed, let them walk out onto the road and block traffic and attack the short strand?

 

Compare the police response in Belfast to that in London during the riots there!
