I can sympathise with you man. I think the two things you have to keep in mind here is.......

    1. She lives in Australia(making the chances of a long term relationship very slim)
    2. She doesn't seem to be as into you as you are into her(going by what you've posted)

It sounds like you really like her a lot and you could be setting yourself up to get really hurt by this girl. If I was you I would start backing off a bit. Easier said than done, believe me I know, but from what you've posted there I think it's what you need to do.

I would ignore any advice like 'Man up' or 'Go out and pump a fat burd'. There's nothing wrong with having the feelings you're having and it doesn't make you any less of a man for feeling the way you do. Also, using some unsuspecting 'fat burd' to get over this girl would be a really shallow and * thing to do.

Hope things get easier for you mate.

    Dear Marie

I found a piece of paper the other day, with an Email address written on it in my wifes hand writing. On the reverse was a what I would loosely describe as a list of compatibility questions, also in the wifes handwriting, you know the kind of thing...

    Sports car or SUV,
    Friends or family,
Walk in the country or shopping in the city,
Night at the movies or night at the pub,
    Football or Rugby,
    Summer or winter.

And several similar sort of things. They're the kind of things you would see on a dating site.

Anyhow, I found another list today which went a little like this....

    First impressions?
    Appearance?
    Table manners?
Would you introduce them to your friends?
Would you introduce them to your parents?
Did you go on anywhere else?
    Did you kiss?
    Marks out of 10?
    Would you see them again?

Now I might be a million miles wide of the mark here, but do you reckon that she's been checking some birds out for a threesome for my christmas present??

    Yours worriedly
    Wrigley

Without a shadow of a doubt Wrigley, there is no other reason she'd be writing a list like that.

Now you have a big problem that will need a lot of soul searching....do you tell your wife you know what she has been up to....or keep quiet and enjoy your christmas?:97: Tough one....I hope you manage to do what is right for you both and your relationship

I actually think she has used this as a means of 'meeting' somebody else.

She took a 'trip' recently for the day, alone, and allegedly at some distance from home, which is out of character as she wouldn't normally go more than a few miles alone.

I only added the threesome bit as a way of trying to inject some humour into what is a testing time for myself, whilst I make the decision on wether I should confront her about it

Find out what dating site she is using, join and create a fake profile, message her and then see what she is really up to.
Sounds like she is at it unfortunately mate.

I'm genuinely gutted for you wrigley.
you usually do well with the women, but i've got to
point out, if you look at the bolded parts it looks to me
(& i'm no expert) that she's getting shafted by a good few & possibly as many as a bus load.
I'm not sure if this news helps you or not:50:

Could be a lot of guests at your house for xmas dinner,
you probably will be somewhere else for yours.

If you walk in & the pool team & darts team walk out when they've said hello you've maybe got your man/men/,team
If the whole pub walks out, well at least you will get a chair
    & a nice quiet pint.

If you go home feeling * go steady, she could be raw &
because she loves you, you wouldn't want to hurt her:50:

I made that breakup stories thread a couple months ago. If you all remember I posted hoping I'd get some ideas from other peoples experiences. Instead I for a bunch of youse comin on saying how well your relationships are going. Lol ;-). Anyways, good news for anybody who remembers, she did not succeed in killing me and I haven't talked to her in weeks, regardless off her and I being in one off the same classes in uni. Great success. :50:
