    Just a thought , this guy plays for ghana ....and the African Nations cup is in january to febuary next year ...so we'd be losing the guy for weeks!

    Give er a break. She was talking about the fact that Bobo was away for a few weeks during the last African Nations and we seemed to do OK with squad cover. We would have players ready to step in should Appiah sign and then * off in January - league will prob be won by then anyway.

    It's on a few of the rumour sites that he's set to sign for£5.5m-£6m. One guy actually said we're signing Appiah, Bellamy, Gordon, Brown and Barton for a total of £20m. :56:

    I wouldn't laugh at the £20m by the way. This year Celtic have some SERIOUS money to spend. If rangers hadn't improved this year, then Celtic would've spent the money building the main stand. But seein as how the huns have sorta got better, then they'll back WGS in the transfer market all the way. Plus they want to get the semi's of the CL this year.
