Non-story, no point in even discussing it.

    Don't want or need him.

Well I guess thats that then, eh? The football oracle that is Gaz has spoken.

Better alert the media, and Naka's agent.

I love Naka just as much as the next tim,but he's had his time here,I don't think it would be good to bring him back here as a player again,I don't think we need him at all tbh. Thanks for the memories.

Of course this would be a great move. Never got the proper send off the first time around either.

Great player and he could play until he was 38 no doubt just like Lubo.

    Yes yes YES.

Unlike Juninho, Ljungberg et al he would actually be worth signing even if he didn't play. A true technician who could teach a lot to our players about how to use the ball. I would be very happy if this happened.

    Bring him home!

Would be great to see him playing in the hole behind Hooper and scoring freekicks for fun.

You get links from random sites linking Celtic with tonnes of players everyday, the vast majority come to nothing.

I think it's a lot of nonsense, and I'm 99% it will be indeed that. Why would he want to retire here? And why would we want him? He's well past his best. File under pish.

In a heartbeat. He'd still score goals for us tbh, even at 40 odd

He wouldn't be a better option than Hooper, Watt, Stokes or Miku up front.

    * your posts just get more and more stupid.

Past his best? Have you even seen him play since he left Celtic? If you have, you would not make that comment.

You are 99% sure that Celtic are not attempting to sign him, are you peter lawwell moonlighting as an ambiguous talk celtic poster?

You are right, I will now file your post, under pish.

I'd take him in a heartbeat. He'd be great for the younger guys coming through - he's done it all with Celtic and is a model pro. I've no doubt he could still perform either.

    Awesome Rumour!

The Ultimate professional & we all know that Lenny craves a senior figure in the Sqaud for the younger bhoys to look up to...Naka is exactly what this Squad needs in more than a few ways.

    Technicality
    Professionalism
    Conduct
    Playmaker
Coping with the stress of being a mega star, without getting all Billy Big Boots.

Excellent rumour, I hope it's true. McGeough, Forrest, Wanyama, Hooper etc... could learn loads from Naka.

Why are some people acting as though, because he is 34, he has lost all of the talent and ability he had only four years ago? The man is a genius. As they say, class is permanent and he is pretty much the Japanese version of Lubo. Heck, Moravcik is probably well over 40 now and I'd still take him back.

It's a massive thumbs up from me. If Naka were to come back, even if only for one season, then I would be overjoyed. Sit back for a moment and think about how much experience he'd bring to this young squad and how much our team (especially the midfielders) would learn from him.

I may be getting excited over nothing, but please make this happen, Celtic.

I know it's off topic, but that is ridiculous. Henrik would definitely be be a better option than Stokes, Watt and Miku up front, even at 40.

Hooper is probably a slightly better finisher than Henrik is now, but if both were in their prime, then Larsson would blow Hooper out of the water with ease.

Of course he would. he's arguably the best player to ever play for Celtic. The guy is 41 now though and I certainly wouldn't have him in my starting 11 ahead of Hooper, Stokes or Watt. Possibly have him ahead of Miku.

Just spoke to my Japanese mate on facebook there, he said it is likely he will go to China although Celtic have made a bid (so it says in * media)

Unlike the rest of the older guys here, Naka pays for himself. He still is looked upon as probably the greatest sports personality behind one or two of the baseball and sumo guys.

Having him back would certainly see us cash in too.
