He gave the ball away needlessly and dropped us right in it at least a couple of times. In an attacking sense he contributed very little either.

I acknowledge the fact he didn't get much service, that's why I said it was never going to be his type of match, but it wasn't a good performance from him last night.

6 is a fair rating for him.

Could not disagree more, he grafted as much as anyone else. The fact he neither got the ball very often or the fact there was zero support for him when he did get it is not indicative of a 'guff' performance.

He was at least a 7 if not an 8, the fact Bill Leckie gave him an 8 is an indication of that.

I'm in agreeance with Guidi's rating.

I'll retract the word guff if it makes you feel better. :86:

The fact that Bill Leckie gave Hooper an 8 just convinces me all the more that it isn't a true reflection of his performance. :smiley-laughing002:

Apart from one cracking tackle from behind, he was invisible.

His one touch passing in attack was very good and he never stopped working. I agree that a 9 is generous though. I'd change it to an 8.

It speaks volumes for Mark Guidi that I'm more inclined to agree with Bill Leckie than him..........

His passing was particularly bad last night from what I saw (and I was sobre :icon_mrgreen:).

Perhaps the stat lovers on here could tell us how his passing went?

Forster 9 Motm, not at fault for the goals and made some amazing saves, love him
Lustig 8 had such a tough job, coped really well and broke well also
Ambrose 9 What a player best outfiled player for me
    Wilson 8 rock solid
Izaguirre 8 great game, a few vital challanges...read the game well
Wanyama 7 was solid in the tackle but slack at times, good performance though
Brown 7 ran his socks off
Ledley 7 a couple brilliant tackles, and his passing was tidy
Samaras 7 did really well when he was on, unfortunately only lasted 40 mins, woulda beeen marked higher if played full game
Mulgrew 7 good ball for goal and a couple of very good blocks and tackles
Hooper 6 isolated, couldnt do much

Forrest 7 tried to attack them, put in a good shift
Commons 5 a few nice touches
Kayal 5 chased alot, but hardly touched the ball, good effort though

Leckie did not do the ratings it was Derek McGregor thankfully, Leckie did the article. Leckies ratings are usually a disgrace he only gave Wanyama an 8 after St Mirren game and rest of players 6s and 7s in what was a stunning performance. Guidi is anti Celtic we all are aware of that.
