Won at a canter. Started really brightly but tailed off not unsurprisingly given the line up. Had hoped he would have played a few fringe players and given the new boys a decent runout.

We can afford to drop points in every league game after the CL and still win the championship so not so sure why Lenny was so cautious today.

Still beautiful day and good to see the boys win without really getting out of 1st gear.

Not every game is going to be spectacular, especially after we have just got back from Russia! We done fine today against one of the better SPL sides and even at 70% (the players looked tired- not lazy) they still created enough to win by a couple more.

Even though it was pretty dull they actually did better than I expected and it is these kind of games we need to get used to grinding out.

Thought we we very decent today - composed, defended well , and didn`t allow ourselves to be bullied as we have often in the past.
Combine this with some really good individual performances and I think we are looking a real class team as each game goes by.
All credit to the team and management ( I have been a critic of Neils tactical nous in the past, but I have to say now he is proving me wrong )

I thought we played well today. Not outstandingly, but say six or seven out of ten. I didn't see the mediocre and deflated match that so many saw, but then that's the beauty of opinions, isn't it.

Very few negatives to take from today's match.

To be fair I thought both Wilson and Ambrose weren't at their best today, especially Wilson. Few moments were really amateurish. Almost died when Ambrose was a bit too relaxed in the pass which led to their last chance (which was pretty close). So defended well, for me, is a bit generous.(well for the last 20 min anyway)

See Neil saying he's proud of the players as they were tired from mid-week's game. Why can't he freshen things up and use guys like McGeouch, McCourt, and others? Our bench is better than Heart's starting XI. We would've been much more impressive today if we'd gave some guys a rest.

I'll admit I am a very tiny bit puzzled as to why we haven't made more use of alternative starting XIs and second-choice players of late given how stretched some of the regulars must be (especially given Lennon's statement after the match about tiredness) but I presume Lennon is trying to encourage a solid starting XI that are reflexively used to and comfortable playing with one another.

I thought we were good 1st half and needed to find the killer goal as they decently starting getting sloppy later, hearts right back is a very decent defender(ozi) I think he kept a strong side because hearts should be the challengers, should start giving guys a rest after European games. All in all top o the league and a game in hand.too Easy

im pretty sure he is trying to get consistentcy of performance out of the regulars

plus we cant play a weakened team against hearts probably our biggest challengers

i was happy with the 1st half some excellent football from commons in particular

saying that though i would like to see mcgeoch getting more of a shout he was terrific the other week :50:

I have to agree with the above. Today wasn't a day for a 2nd string. We want to win the league and winning one and possibly drawing the next doesn't help anyone. Need to breed confidence.

He knew the international break was coming up and even if guys are playing it's not as often as our club games. Slight rest for others.

Hearts although not great you know they're coming to give you a hard time, they always do. We needed the 3 points and another win for consistency, we got that after a hard game in Moscow.

Even Commons tweeted earlier how * he was towards the end so they're putting in the shift and we won.

I think after big euro games some players do need a rest, it also gives other lhads a game. If your on the bench and not getting a chance it must be a killer at times.

Comfortable win, better finishing and we could have scored a couple more. 2nd half was scrappy and Craig Thomson with his standard inconsistent performance. Hearts are a poor side, other than McGowan(although a dirty bass at times yesterday) was the only one who looked decent for them.

On another note if various Radio commentators thought that Hearts played well and were unlucky; there was nothing positive about their contribution to the game.

Had to do a bit of a double take when they said it was Sammy's first SPL goal.

Happy with the 3 points but can't help but wish we had managed a slightly bigger crowd than 46K for the bhoys on their return from russia and first ever CL away win.
