I like wee Izzy, he is quite erratic defensively, because our strikers have no aerial ability I think a lot of his good work goes to waste.

Tbh, Matthews is more a worry than him, but Lustig is our RB, whilst no-one really challenges wee Izzy.

He needs a rest more than anything, last time he got 2 weeks off he had a broken leg. That was what, 4 years now!

I've watched the 1st goal as saw him getting pelters and was pretty mystified, lol, what the fk match were some of you watching, hahaha.

He has no fekn chance of any of it, lol. Seriously possibly the most bizarre * I've heard for blaming someone.

If that's the case I think Henrik was to blame when we lost the league at Motherwell then on Helicopter Sunday................lol. Deary me.

He is complacent because his place is guaranteed. We need someone as good or better than him in the summer.

I think we are too hard on Izzy considering how much he loves the club ans the fact he only cost us £600k. He has been Celtics best left back in my time watching us.

He is still a decent asset.

However how much he loves the club should never overshadow a player's actual ability. Not saying it does in this case but you know what I mean.

His crossing this season has been nothing short of abysmal . Hits the first defender so often it's unreal.

:smiley-laughing002: Why does he use underneath his toe to cross the ball !?

Does anyone know what I mean ? Instead of whipping it with his instep or his laces ? That's why he constantly shanks it out of play.

He needs a challenge for his spot to push him , Jordan Amavi OGC Nice is one we should be looking at.

I hear this alot but i dont think application/effort is the problem , he just doesn't seem to know how to deliver a decent cross anymore , and gets dragged all over the place positionally when defending:54:

Well it will force him to up his game or he will be benched especially if we were to bring a bright young talent for 2-3 million in his position.

This summer he's getting the screws in his ankle removed after the operation he had back in 2011. Apparently they've been causing him pain - wonder if it's affected his performance in any way? Think he's had a decent season anyway.
