    I dont think I am being unfair. Of course I will support him 100% if we get him. All I am saying is a guy who scored 5 goals last season in a relegated team and has only had a few bit-part appearences for Tunisia is not reason to feel all that excited.

    hes a free agent, good business i think! older than our players and played in a harder league, 6ft2, lennon could be looking to try out new tactics with these tall strikers.

    dont know much about him but will be happy if he signs

    So we have brought in TWO La Liga strikers....cant complain really. Will certainly create alot of competition for the strikers especially when you think of the impact Tony Watt has made so far.

    44 goals in 134 games for Deportivo over two years is a decent record. Interesting.

    edit - that is 44 goals in 4 years in Spain(not 2 years), but still a decent average for games played.

    Twitter arrogance from the day he was released. Sworn blind he would be going nowhere near the championship and reminded his followers of the times he was on the scoresheet with the likes of Zidane, Raul, Ronaldo and Beckham.

    The "two big european teams turned down" tweets... He just thought he'd be in the prem no doubt and had the arrogance to say he'll move WHEN the english offers come in not IF.

    You want to play football full stop or you think youre too good to drop the level and keep schtum and retire gracefully(ish, in his case)
