Poor performance today, missing 6/7 first team players so side seemed a little disjpointed. Not overly concerned but performances have to improve if we stand any hope of securing points in Champions League.

 

To be fair, we'll raise our game tenfold for those games and we may well have most if not all of those injured back

and being honest, i kind of expect us to suffer from the "european hangover" after every one of our champions league games, today won't be the last time we drop a couple points.

 

Basically no atmosphere at all apart from the GB. Even after the goals people weren't singing. The Hibs fans outsung us for a large part of the match. Pretty similar to the Aberdeen match.

Also after about 70 mins many people turned on the players and pretty much every mistake after that was mate with ridiculous aggression from huge amounts of the crowd. The stadium was half-empty by about 80 mins as well.

We were AWFUL today. It's one of the worse performances I've witnessed in 3 -4 years. What it did prove is that some of our squad players are nowhere good enough to step up. McCourt was posted missing when he was on. Hooper couldn't control the ball. Matthews done big time for the goal with the nut meg. For what our squad players are earning their performance today was poor. Hibs top earner no more than £1500

 

We are unbeaten this year you do realise that? We have also won 4 games out of 4 in Europe. We have nothing to complain about.

Our performance was far from awful and certainly not our worst in 3-4 years. We hit the woodwork 3 times and scored 2 goals. I think some people are getting carried away with the result - which was a draw by the way, not a loss. The only 'squad player' that was playing was McCourt - who wasn't good enough. The rest are just young lads taking the step up to the first team. They need game time and they're going to make mistakes. Not a big deal.

We drew with Hibs with a team largely made up of squad players and young kids.

We hit the woodwork 2 or 3 times as well and could have been 5-0 ahead at half time.

Some people are acting like we just got humped 4-0 by St. Mirren.

Honestly don't get this reaction from some people.

 

JC - I understand were ur coming from. Personally I thought were poor today. Maybe not out worse performance in 3 - 4 years but it was very flat. I just feel Neil needs to give other teams some respect and make a few less changes.

with a budget not much more than that of 5 million for there entire team and no matter what people say on here about we played young guys you would think that hibs had old timers in there team they have younger guys in there side as do most of the teams we play, but that seems to get thrown out the way, as if we are the inflicted team, the poor me"s there are a few on here that would not give credit to any team we play and that beat us. for me I belive there are a lot of players in teams in the SPL better than some we have, and are on big wages, all I hear on this forum is we are missing some players no concern for
the team we play that has guys missing, but should that be mentioned the dummys get thown out the prams, when we are getting beat we are always missing some * never have the fans said this will need to stop this aint good enough. something has to change.
