do you think he will start on wed night?

i think kayal is key for us if we r to progress in europe...

but who do you drop to accommodate him ?

my choice is brown captain or no captain

Brown is struggling anyway so the decision may be taken out of the managers hands.

For me personally, I would be starting Ledley and Kayal at centre mid with Wanyama behind them on Wednesday.

Brown will be out on Wed. Even if he were fit he'd start, and Kayal will be starting as well.
Looked good on Sat, and tbh I feared the worst when that dirty * slide tackled him in the first half. Thought he done his ankle again.

But imo, Kayal will start in a 5 man midfield...Brown being fit or not.

Brown's been struggling from the moment he stepped on a football pitch. :56:

I don't see why Broony would start over Kayal even if he was fit?

Yeah, must start Wednesday. I'd be happy with 0-0 or 1-1... well obviously I'd be happy because It'll mean we're through.

Was a reasonable performance for a first start in a long time.

unfair to brown bhoys, thought he has been ok,kayal is an excellent player, but you could also see,he is short of match practice,id play brown to start and replace him with kayal after 60 mins

Because as good as kayal is, we were obviously missing brown at the weekend.

This. We struggled like mad without Brown last season when he was out as well. I'd play both Kayal and Brown in every game if we could.

    McGeouch in the Record:

“Beram is out long term and Joe has a niggle. It’s not good to see your team mates injured but from a selfish point of view it’s an opportunity to come back and do well and see where it takes me.”

Contradicts what Lenny said on Saturday, that Kayal and Ledley would be back today.

    That's in the Record though.

And the other one is straight from Lenny's mouth.

    Who would you believe?

I think they'll be back but I also think it's logical to believe that McGeouch said Kayal was out long term, which is strange.
