Definitely, they couldn't handle him. He had the wing to himself as Ambrose was being more reserved, somhe was roasting two players more often than not. If Fisher was on full game it would have been worse for them, they didn't know how to react to two players attacking thrm down that flank.

Seems like Wee Jimmy Jamesy Shooders might be moving on to the next step in his rehabilitation.

We have won a watch if we can get him fixed.

From what I heard Wèe James played brilliantly . In fact it appears all our players who we have doubted recently , all did well, Ambrose Izzy Forrest Stokes and Griffiths .
Our squad is becoming bigger and more powerful by the week . Players due back from injury and others getting their form back . It all looks good and I can see us going to the end of the season unbeaten .

    As he should.

Rotating him and GMS to keep both at peak fitness could be crucial going forward.

If Forrest can stay fit for the rest of the season playing 6 or 7 games, then get a pre season under his belt then that is our right side sorted for next season.

Probably the correct thing to do. Give them Utd boys another game its been a while. At the same time it would do the wee mans confidence no harm to get another good home game under his belt. Tight call

Agreed mate. Previous managers tended to ignore the strain put on bodies, WGS, MON and Lenny all done it. I'm so * happy that we're properly doing it now.

No doubt, with the new boys missing out on 3 games and keeping the squad fresh, there is no better trio than those 2 and Stefan to throw in for an injection of pace and freshness. They'll be needing the game time again anyway as the international break is coming up after and shooders will be getting game time for Scotland in both I suspect..

Interesting to hear the guys on radio saying that Deila had mentioned that Forrest was "scared" in case he got injured again, and that they had to attempt to sort him out mentally.

Sounds like Deila admitting that Forrest wasn't/isn't giving 100% effort right now. I'd hate to think what it would do to his mind if he did get another injury.

Not sure if giving 100% is the right track to take that. More afraid to take a hard challenge or to beat a man with the ball or to go full pelt past players.

Didier Agathe after his leg break syndrome.happened to Izzy for a while after his as well.

He played very well tonight. He's starting to get back to form again. I jusy hope he can keep it up injury-free and kick on.

It has nothing to do with effort. I done my cruciate a couple of times and when you rehab an injury you bust your * harder than any man in training just to build back the strength. Serious effort. When it comes to a game you * your pants that it will give. It is only natural and takes ages for you to trust your own body. With the amount of knocks he has had it takes tremendous effort for him to even play. Confidence is the issue not effort

Deila's own words, according to radio, were that Forrest was "scared" even though he had been told to give more, and reassured he'd be ok.

For me, that is clearly not giving 100% and it has also been very clear watching him lately (without seeing him tonight) that he hasn't been.

It's not all about him busting a gut running at full pelt. It's his overall commitment in backtracking and tackling etc too.

If he's "scared" then let him sort out his fears in the development squad for his, and Celtic's own good.

I think he'll be more "scared" of GMS keeping his place tbh :56:

    Ronny on shooders.

Deila said: “It’s been a long time since James has been consistently good. But that’s six months without a pulled muscle so he is
definitely moving in the right direction.

“It has been hard work building his self-belief back up that he won’t get these injuries.

“I was happy for him to score on Sunday and win a penalty but he is not even close to what he can be as a footballer.

“He was afraid because he had been out for two of the last four years with a lot of pulled muscles.

“In that situation you get frightened so we need to get his confidence back and get him to start believing in himself again.

“It has been psychological but it’s about getting the balance and control of his body.

“He is available and I can see he will get better and better. Hopefully in six months we will be feeling excited about James Forrest.”

I forgot that every human has the exact same programming and that we all react identically to any situation .
