Not atall, i dont drive. But i know driving is alot more essential than people smoking infront of others who dont want it.

It is a stupid arguument, cant compare the both.

But you failed to refute Marky's argument of car fumes giving off pollution for short journeys.

It is actually quite simple as I said. Don't sit next to the smokers outside then where they are ALLOWED to smoke.

Go inside or to places where they are not and you can be smoke free as designated by the government.

Anyways,if it were not for smokers, alot more pubs and their beer gardens would be closed.

If you read up at another of my posts you will see Cigarettes pollute the atmosphere 10 times more than Diesels and manufacturers are doing more than their fair share to ensure petrol models fall into line ....So at least they are doing something ..As for walking cycling then yes i do when i can but sometimes it is not possible to walk ....

It's not a stupid argument at all. You are claiming that car exhaust fumes are fine because driving is needed. The fact is, a huge amount of car journeys are not needed. So the people who use their cars for unnecessary journeys are just as guilty of endangering other people's health as smokers are. More so actually.

Its not, how many more times do i need to say that nicotine produces 10 times MORE pollution than Diesel cars and a lot of Petrol models now fall into line in the zero tax bracket ....
