I agree strongly with your first paragraph and I was like at last someone talks some sense.

And then you lost me with the second lol. :86:

Ki is probably the most technically gifted player we have behind mcCourt, certainly the best passer in the team anyway. 6.5 is a horrible deal for us as Swansea will sell him on to a bigger club for double the price -at least in a couple of seasons.

Totally agree ki has contribute far more during his time at Celtic
Opposed to a player that hasnt been deemed good enough to start by any of the managers that have run the club since him joining, infact I remember Lennon petering ki out left to McCourt in his normall position just to show who the management rate higher

Ki is a good young talent that has done well at the club in my opinion contributing 11 goals and some good European performance, and I for one am disappointed he is leaving but wish him all the best in his career

That's what I meant. I would rather play McCourt at centre mid than Ki, is in essence what I'm getting at.

He is clearly the better dribbler but he is actually a better passer as well, something Ki's happy clappers refuse to acknowledge.

McCourt has scored 10, nearly every one of them important and the majority of them superb goals. That is despite being used for 10 minutes every fortnight for a large chunk of his Celtic career.

Ki brings a bit of fun to the team team! Sorry to see him go! I hope there are clauses in there so that we get a share of any future dealings. I can see him at Man Ure one day!!!

He was very, very poor in Europe for us. Which is the reason why it is so frustrating to hear people say he was never a started for us because of the league we play in. As if the pitches and the opposition are the reason he jogged about disinterested half the time.

Ki has had one good game in his entire Celtic career, and that was the Scottish Cup Final when he scored the winner. Can you honestly remember him playing one other really good game ?

This is the guy who missed two sitters from three yards in the Cup Final
£6M ? We should take the money and run, and not look back.

I'm guessing you never watched the Atletico Madrid away match amongst others.

I'm guessing you just don't watch any Celtic matches at all.

I for one am completely * off at this as Ki is worth twice the amount he's going for.

I've seen every minute of every game he's played in a Celtic jersey.

I'm guessing you didn't watch the Sion away match amongst others?

Ki was horrible in all the European games, easily brushed off the ball, and easily dispossessed, for a big guy he was easy meat for our opponents.

Bought to sell the jerseys in the Far East. and that is all he did

If he did then he will remember that Kayal was basically in there himself. Left to do the work of 3 players because Ki and another midfielder (Think it was Joe Ledley) were posted missing.

As for other European games, the only big contribution I can remember Ki making was losing the ball when he was the last man against Sion which cost us a goal.

I did watch that match. I've watched every match over the last two seasons. Saying he's only had one good match is a joke. He's been inconsistent at times but when he's on form - like at the start of last season - he's probably our best central midfielder.

Im guessing you also didn't notice there was another 10 players on the park that night that didn't turn up?

Ki has been great in our European games ie Athletico, Rennes and Udinese.

He does have a bit of a downfall in SPL games tho, for whatever reason could be maybe not allowed enough space, some of the parks not up to standard for his passing game who knows, he's done a decent shift for someone who is 23 and now leaving us for 3 times what we paid.

The other 10 players that didn't turn up didn't dally on the ball and cost a goal though.

Europe was where he was supposed to excel. Unfortunately it was nothing more than a fabricated myth.

Utterly, utterly laughable. An on-form Ki is not particularly influential, which is fine if you accept that his role is to retain possession and, something he invariably fails to do, dictate the play. An on-form Kayal is a force of nature. In fact, I would rather have a half-fit Kayal than an on-form Ki every single * day of the week.

Mostly because the other 10 players on the ball were too scared to hold on to the ball and look for an opening, every player on that team has cost us a game at one point or another mainly everyone's golden boy Kayal.

Anyway, you have your opinions and I have mine. I for one will miss Ki and will keep an eye on him to see how he develops.

He was probably the best player that night and worked his heart out. The only reason he gave away that goal is because he had to do the work of two players for the entire match as a certain big lumbering swedish centre-back got himself sent-off after 1 minute.

I can't be bothered arguing with you selective memory folk. It seems like some of you won't be happy until we sell our entire team and replace them with SPL and Championship players. Then you'd be even less happy because we'd have an utterly * team.

Stop arguing guys! The Swansea chairman might be reading this and withdraw his offer!

Just shut the * up and keep to the script!

Ki is a great player, 6 million ey? What a * disgrace, bargain if ever there's been one. He'll go for thrice that in January, no doubt. All hail Ki

(now give us the cash you sheep shaggers)

    Thankyou and good night.
