Wish someone would buy Ki. I really rate the guy but i'd rather the money and with QPR getting Mbia and Arsenal/Spurs wanting M'vila then the possible suitors are disapearing which I really dont want.

Sick of hearing this, wish the board would just say hes not for sale. We're trying to make an impact on the cl, does it not say something when its the likes of blackburn linked with rhodes and arsenal, utd and liverpool linked with ki? Think we would've scored alot more against helsinky if ki had've been playing.

The board cant say that though. He's a player with 1 year left on his contract. When he reports back from international duty on sunday, the first thing he'll be asked is if he wants to sign a new contract or does he want to move on. When Ki gives his answer, things will happen very quickly.

Nope, really doubt Brendan would go for him. Sahin isn't really necessary, more of a luxury having him for a year, but we're not really looking for his positon

If Swansea paid £1 million for Kyle Bartley then Ki should be worth about £132 billion

Fully expect Ki to go but I'd hope we can get more than £5 Million and use it to get the * CB position sorted once and for all.

He can get a better team than Swansea am sure, would have expected qpr to be more likely due to park being there
Did we also not reject a bid of 6m from Rubin Kazan

I would expect more than £5million also, Liverpool paid £15million for Joe Allen so they have the money. I would be happy to see him go with the guys we have in CM but as noted please for * sake reinvest in the defence.

If it's true we knocked 6 or 7 million back before, then...

    * off with this £5m *. I'm tired of our players being quoted at low prices (by the standards of today's inflated market anyway) simply because they play in the SPL, as opposed to the vastly overrated EPL.

In a world where Jordan Henderson can go for £20m (yeah Liverpool, that one worked really * well) and Joe Allen and Jack Rodwell can go for almost similar, we're being offered £5m for one of our most creative players and a potential superstar? He is only 23 too, which should be adding another couple of million on to his valuation, as whoever signs him will undoubtedly be getting him as he approaches the peak of his career.

No less than £7m, in my opinion. Ideally, I'd be holding out for £9m.

To be fair they said a fee in the region of 5 million they believed but that could mean say 5 mill down and a few more based on appearances etc and a sell on clause for sure

Agreed. We should look for more than £5m for numerous reasons.

    • Still only 23 and could still have a big career in the game.
    • He has over 45 caps for his country.
    • He generates money for us.
    • Asian awards.

Lennon definitely rates him and I don't think he will go cheaply. I hope not anyway.
