    Uncle Ho quote:

Trolling - Does not need to be on a second, third or fourth post in a thread. You suggested he is one of our worst performing midfielders last season without actually looking at anything to back that up, also reading over the threat you would have seen members have very different views. To weigh in, especially with your first comment of sorts like that on any debate such as this, would look like trolling. Especially when it is just a matter of opinion

    Daver response:

I have actually never read such a streaming pile of horse pish in my life. Currently trying to work out if you are at it, or simply incapable of reading. Show me where I said he was one of our worst performing midfielders of last season. Oh right, you can't - because I never said anything like that in any shape or form.

Do you simply believe that making statements up will get away from the fact your trolling line was drivel, and that you just made a bit of a * of yourself?

I "weighed in" with my beliefs - and they are beliefs that you have still proved incapable of disproving. I say again - do you think we have seen the best of Ki in domestic football? Because I certainly don't, and unless we have a team of Galacticos the fact that Ki is not in any way assured of a first team slot when all our midfielders are fit kind of proves the point.

Anyway, you started the "trolling" nonsense, and simply put it's just utter drivel. If you can't debate in a proper fashion without taking optimum offence when someone disagrees with your assessment of a player, then here is the wrong place to be. Frankly, you come across in this thread as rather "precious" if truth be told.

Oh, and it's "thread" not "threat" - although that is of relative insignificance unless you are attempting to suggest I am trolling and threatening simultaneously!

Your opening line is insulting, insulting other members on a forum is considered trolling or flaming as well, designed to get a reaction.

Ki - We have seen spluts of his good performance domestically yes. The end of the season before last and the begining and ending of last season he was more than decent. I don't know what else to tell you? He is obviously a young lad trying his best to perform at a club where certain players will always get a hard time off the support. In a way, there is players I just do not see the value of too, like Brown for example.

Spelling mistakes will happen on mobile devices.

Red triangle me then. No skin off my nose.

You mentioned trolling to start off with - it was nonsense. In your position, I would have apologised for making an accusation that was nonsense. Alas, you proved incapable of doing so. You leapt in the deep end without thinking I was perhaps someone who simply does not rate Ki's performances for the club as overly startling. Yours was a near dictionary definition of a complete over-reaction.

You say "too" in a way that suggests I rate Ki as no value as you do Brown. Again, going by my previous posts this "too" is absolutely incorrect as an assertion (if I am reading your post as gramatically correct.)

Coupled with your entirely incorrect "worst performing midfielders" line does, with no flaming intentions, suggest to me you are not reading my posts properly - simply put, because if you were you would not be making such glaring errors on a seemingly endless basis in terms of this thread.

Are you now willing to accept that I said no such thing, despite your mention to the contrary a couple of posts ago? This would be a start, if so.

If we get offered 8.5 million then the board will bite their hand off we need to raise funds so we can get a centre half and a target man in and even some more fresh faces

A fair price for the guy. If at all true and not pish, obviously!

One thing I would say is that I presume participation in the qualifiers wouldn't prevent him playing in European competition for Arsenal via being cup tied? If not the case, then Celtic surely wouldn't scupper £7 million coming in for the Helsinborgs game.....

It would if we qualify for the CL then he'd be cup tied. Sure I seen that with Henriksen if we signed him.

But I don't think it would really put Arsenal off signing him. They've just signed a couple of good players and I think they would see Ki as potential (marketing potential) and more of a squad player.

8.5 Million and the deal is done. I wish they'd get it done and dusted and Lenny gets a chance to build a team for Europe. We'd maybe be able to get three players in and have a bit more depth to the squad.

With RVP now off to Man utd, i expect a bid for Ki at anytime now from Arsenal, if so get him sold for the desired amount, get the champions league group stages under our belts and put an outlandish figure for Rhodes in there !

Oh yeah, a lad wanted a translated version of this video.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5DHTm26hxw

Little message at the end there! ;-)

Turns out this video was funded by Nike and Celtic, rather than just the Korean Celtic fans. Which was initially thought.

Still like the fact they used the "doing the huddle when rangers die" in it haha.

Brendan rodgers today said he will be bringing in 2 players withing the next 48 hours.

Think he will bid for Ki or is he destined for Arsenal ?

Just wish this would move on now tbh

I doubt Rodgers will sign him considering he's just signed Joe Allen.

Think the 2 players will be a defender and a striker :50:

Arsenal might be a shout - by all accounts have been scouting him, and the loss of RVP and the imminent departure of Alex "Geeza" Song might entice Wenger to splash the cash on the Korean.

Hopefully just punt him and get this whole saga over and done with. I genuinely have no energy left to debate on someone I believe has split the opinions of the Celtic support more than any other.

I agree, just want some closure on it now, one way or another. We either end up with a handsome wad of cash or keep a talented young midfielder who is incredibly marketable.

Can't remember another player that has polarized opinion to such an extent.
