Nope, unfortunately it was £2m - from the mouth of Neil Lennon himself at a Q & A I was at personally.

  3. Where are these whispers of £6m-8m bids coming from? Has there been any confirmed bids other than the one from Rubin Kazan?

By all accounts it's virtually a done deal with QPR for £7M. When you see a donkey like Adam going for £11M, I think it's a bargain for them.

I like the kid, but £7M is a fair chunk of change, and I'd like to wish him all the best if he does, indeed, go.

    Not according to this mate:

    http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/premier-league/2012/07/06/3224776/celtic-midfielder-ki-sung-yueng-denies-he-will-be-unveiled

Mark Hughes has already brought players such as goalkeeper Rob Green to Loftus Road this summer, and the club has been heavily linked with a £7-8 million move for the South Korean.

The 23-year-old insisted that his primary focus is the upcoming Olympic games, and put forward the names of Lee Chung-Yong and Park Chu-Young as other Koreans that QPR's Monday press conference could be introducing.

"I heard that QPR will have a press conference on [June] 9 with Korean player but I won't be there," Sung-Yueng told reporters.

"I know that QPR showed interest in me but I don't know what's going on right now. Anyway, I'm not the player who will attend press conference, it's 100%.

"I have not decided my future, now is time to focus on [the] Olympics. It's uncomfortable to see many transfer news about me. I don't even want to know the stories unless I receive an offer.

"Who would go to QPR? I'm curious. Maybe Lee Chung-Yong or Park Chu-Young?"

I've always thought the boy was a donkey but no one can dispute he had a great couple of seasons with Blackpool and EARNED his move to Liverpool. Still doesn't have anywhere near the same amount of ability as Ki.

As above pretty much. I wasn't advocating him as a great player just saying he done well for himself in the EPL.

to a team like qpr with a sugar daddy, 7 million is spare change, same with liverpool being linked, if they can spend 50 million on flops like carroll, 7 million on a young player is good business!
i think if we can cash in we would be stupid not too, although hes with us next season i wouldnt complain :50:

Anyway as much as I like Ki, I hope this is dealt with within the next few days. Getting a bit annoying with this constantly coming back up every few days.

Yep. Torres sold for 50M and Caroll was brought in for 35M.

On TV here (KBS) Saying that the rumours of QPR are rubbish. He respects their plans but has not been told of any transfer to Liverpool, Russia or QPR. He said he is only focused on the Olympics and then returning to Celtic.

Hopefully, true and not smoke and mirrors.
