About 20 minutes. Give me a quiet bar where you can get served straight away over a crowded nightclub any day.

Worst ever for me was a place in Hamilton called Harleys. It was the pub everyone went to and was always busy on a thursday and friday night.

One of those pubs that are not built to have large amounts of folk in it, to the point that when you get served, if you get served. You have to stand in one spot surrounded by lots of people drinking your drink.

Waited 45 minutes once to get served.

One year at Planet Love festival the bar set up was a joke and it took at least half an hour for drinks at the start of the day.

To be fair to the barmaids in Stirling, they are constantly looking over their shoulders in fear of a certain TC member.

I leave a tip each time so I'm always served first when at a bar. Take car of me and I take care of them, especially if hot

Its really a disgrace in some places when you think of it? I've not been out drinking this weekend but can imagine some of the beer gardens will have been packed. Some measures to be put in place though - more bar staff, when its busy no cocktails or some other pishy drink that takes about 10 minutes to make, half the time im just wanting a few beers which frustratingly you can see and think I could just walk round and pick those up, quicker bar staff when its busy, no arsing about talking to colleagues, serve, money, go.

A few years ago Kushion had a vendy machine with Red stripe in it.

Over an hour to get a few beers at the Ricky Burns fight at Braehead a few month ago. The queues for the bogs were just as bad.

About 30 mins the other week in Glasgow on a Tuesday night, was an absolute joke, bartenders who serve someone who then just keep adding drinks on shouldnt be allowed, or when they pour slow as *.

When I worked behind the bar of a nightclub last year, on the busy nights I refused to serve someone more than 6 drinks and didnt do cocktails. And once you told me what you want thats it, none of these * who ask for vodka lemonades then when your pouring the last one ask you to make it coke instead, they either take it or they jump to the back and start again. Not fair on everyone else waiting.

I was a hard but fair bar tender. I ran a tight section back in the day. :50:

    Completely agree :50:
Nightclubs' prices for drinks are usually extortionate as well. I heard it's 4 quid for a Jagerbomb in clubs like Octo in Glasgow, ridiculous!. I'd rather sit in an oldman's pub sipping a pint.

Lol, I know a few people who work in there. I'll pass on your message, but I agree about the service; I was in there on Saturday and stood 20 mins, and all I wanted was a bottle of bud.
