I have to say i think he is over-rated.He is quite good, i will give him that, but when i heard tonight he is on £80k a week, i was astonished.He is never that good.I had him as a £40-£50k a week at best!

I don't think anyone sees Keane as a 'hard-man' (he certainly doesn't himself).

'Ruthless' is a better way to describe him.

 

Keane was a hard but fair player. If you smacked Keane, he would have waited and done you back and you know he would wether it be the same game or the next.

Barton's more of a sneaky *, Hunnish like Novo, Lafferty etc he even admits it by saying he tried to provoke one of the City players into getting sent off too, if a City player had kicked him back or headered him he'd have collapsed and rolled about like a wee lassie.

If you want to act the big man you need to take it and dish it out like Keane, Broony, Souness, Davids, Lennon, Gattuso etc they go about their business blatantly and take their punishment.

If you try to act the big man but just act like a big *, then you deserve all you get for me.

You should play by the same rules on the park as you would in the Pub. You wouldnt wait till a guy turned his back in a pub before jumping on him or you wouldnt fall and milk a wee soft punch to get a guy done for assault so on the park you shouldnt sneakily try to do someone or else if you get done act like it was much worse to get someone sent off.

 

If he lashed out against Tevez and Aguero, what makes you think he wouldnt do the same against Naismith and Lafferty ?
(Even though those 2 wont even be at Rangers next season :icon_mrgreen
