Neil Lennon has let us down in most big games since he took over. His tactical naivety is astonishing. I believe and have done from day one that he is not the man for the job. In my opinion we won the league in spite of his management not because of it. paulo sergio realised he had got it wrong tactically in the first half and had the balls to make the necessary changes at half-time. Don't get me wrong maybe lustig was injured(I hope so), but wanyama for lustig at RB. What was that all about. Wanyama did well but isn't he most effective in the middle? Neil Lennon needs to take a long hard look at himself. His behaviour at the end was embarrasing and unbecoming of a Celtic manager.

Maybe cos our rivals had a 10 pts deduction which took away any pressure our team of bottlers may have had on them.

They got their penalty in the 90th minute. We had all the time before that to be winning the game, but we were hopeless.

The goal at the start of the season was the league. We have won the league. Cup games are always unpredictable and there is a reason that we have only won 2-3 trebles in our history is because they are difficult to achieve, but on any given day anything can happen in a one-off game. The quality is proven over the entire season, not in 2 Cup games - even if they are a cup final & another cup semi-final.

Usually I would agree with you, but why not play Wanyama instead of Wilson? It has been clear all season Wilson isnt good enough, and Wanyama has been a good solid player for us, so Lenny has to take the blame for that. Little decisions like that have cost us some games.

I do agree though, if we get a couple of quality players in this summer, we should be alright next season.

A lot of my Hun loving workmates believe that,I think there years stealing from the taxman should be classed as tainted titles I tell them

League titles are different, leagues are not won in knockout competition format. I am starting to believe that some of this Celtic side don't like the title of being favourites.

When 15 points behind no one thought we would come back and the team thrived being the underdogs, ever since the team has been the favourites going into every game they don't look the same.

Today should have been revenge for losing in the other cup final, yet the team look largely disinterested for most of the game, i am not labeling them bottlers but there is something that needs corrected.

you said about winning it with 5 games to go, you telling me that rangers getting docked points never made it possible to do so?

so if rangers where not docked 10 points would we have won it with 5 games to go? no we would have had to wait

also did i say anything about tainted? no so stop talking * :bbpd:

For me we've been poor at parkhead since the 3-0 game last season. Poor at Ibrox and poor at hampden. We cant play on big pitches. were better at Tynecastle Easter road and so on. Our managers game involved a 5 yard pass and his tactic sum it up. Too much time on twitter arguing with huns im afraid. Oneill was never this accessible

Bottlers in cup competition? Yes, I'd agree. In the league? Not so much. I don't think we bottled it against the Huns on 25th March. We were missing quite a few big players (Hooper and Forrest for starters) and they were up for it from the very beginning, knowing that a victory for us would win us the title.

As much as I hate to say it, it was one of those games where they were simply better than us in every area of the park. They turned up and we didn't, until the end, when it was too late. Very reminiscent of the game where we trounced them 3-0 last year, only to a lesser degree, as we did almost get back into it in the final ten minutes.

Would we have won the league without Rangers going into administration yes or no?

If the huns had not lost 10 points and there main goal threat i am not so sure they wouldnt be going for 4 in a row still,we got lucky this year with them being found out and the taxman coming over the hill.
We have bottled it in the league but with the league you have time and other games to make up for losing the big games in the cup its one chance only.

We weren't hopeless, we dominated the whole game and eventually got the goal our play deserved. To give a penalty like the referee did in the final minute of a cup semi-final was, to be honest, a ridiculous decision that you can't really legislate for and leaves you zero time for recovery.

A bunch of bottlers would never have got the equaliser, but we plugged away, got the reward our play deserved and were unfairly shafted with almost the last boot of the ball.

Actually i do think we bottled it against the huns, the fact that we were missing a few players shouldn't really matter, they were there for the taking but the players didn't have the stomach for it.

Aye but you've got to remember that we've dropped 5 points in the league since October. We won it on our own merit and there's no chance the huns would have been able to cope with our unbelievable league form, regardless of what happened to them.

Not too worried, think we need to sign a couple of older experienced players this summer, guys with a winning mentality.

Kayal coming back will be beneficial for young guys like Wanyama & Forrest.

Need a good CB pairing, hopefully the polish guy Fojut we signed on a pre in january is a big no nonsense type centre half, we badly need it.

Loovens, both Wilsons & a few others will hopefully leave, I like Mark Wilson, but think we're more than covered at right back, & he's still a bit injury prone.
