Really? Just over a week ago we were on the brink of winning 5 trophies, including the Champions League? Come on FFS! Yes our treble dream is over. Let's move on from that, we can still walk away with a double and everyone will rightly hail this season as a success. And I'm not blaming the refs here, but things could have been different. We should have had a pen last week and 11 men this, ok we should be able to win regardless but we should also be able to compete on a level playing field.
I disagreed with Lenny's subs today, given that we were 1-0 down when Cha was sent off I think Stokes should have stayed on, maybe Ki brought off. Either that or stick Wanyama at CB and Mulgrew at LB. Commons should have come on earlier. But what other team could we have started with? Forrest and Hooper were injured, Izzy and Commons haven't played much this season, it would hardly be a good idea to throw them in from the start. Our only other option really today would be the same back 4 as last week, with Wilson CB and Mulgrew LB. Wilson's been * recently and deserved to be dropped, and Mulgrew is a better CB than LB.

Samaras wasn't playing as a striker or a left winger... he seemed to be just hugging the left touchline in between these roles like he didn't know where he was playing.... after 15 mins and a goal to the other team he finally decided to move samaras up front. and we started to look better then cha got sent off and we got nowhere near them after that... no noticeable shape no clear gameplan nothing..

And stokes did play well in that european game but we had a dynamic midfield behind him... this time we had four imobile CM's behind him, and all we did was fire the ball up the park it was never going to work...

I couldnt watch the game so I cant really say anything about todays tactics, but to be fair we were never going to win the game with 9 men

Probably the most balanced, critical, honest and true post i've read today (there has been a few others, honest :icon_mrgreen: )

No one is happy about today but it matters little in the grand scheme of things.

Am I hurting? yes. Angry? You bet. But I'm not going to abuse the man who brought home the league title within two years of taking over from one of the worst managers in our history.

Lennon is * hero for putting up with the * he gets, not least from our own supporters.

take the rose tinted specs of FFS!!!! We were * last week and shouldnt have had to rely on a last minute penalty decision to change a game should have been dead and burried! Now we were * from the start and play a player who hasnt started an old firm in front of matthews and lustig who lennon rates higher! Now we make ourselves look like we couldnt win the 3rd divison. Lenny tatics were * today reminds me of the let down from ross county. Lets wait for hearts to pump us now unless lenny pull the finger out his *

Dont know how Lenny can say he was proud of the team today instead of saying we were poor . Stop changing the team Lenny when will you learn ?

I could sit here and rhyme off a number of better teams that he could have played but the fact is he chose to go with one of the worst possible, and of course its down to the players aswell and i've had a go at them in other threads but lennon has really cost us today. Just through sheer stupidity

We've been shouting for ages about our huge squad.. Why is it then that as soon as we get a couple injuries we're that stuck for options we need to play 4 CM's? Where are the rest of these players?

Lenny pulled the finger out of his * in November.

We have now hit a sticky patch after almost 6 months unbeaten domestically.

It happens, every team goes through bad spells, ours just happened at the worst possible time.

League title is coming home next week, cheer up.

I just hope that our two (arguably) best players from last year are now included in the squad rest of this season. Izzy and commons to get game time and ready for next year.

And 2 years ago Rangers won the league at the earliest date EVER. In 2 years Lennon has transformed what was possibly the worst team in over a decade into CHAMPIONS

its not the fact we got beat that annoys me. I could take a defeat if it was against a good rangers side in some decent form. But the fact is we got beat by such a * poor Rangers team and its just so frustrating. The sending offs didnt help obviously but even as early on as 10 mins or so I had a bad feeling about the game.

Embarrased by him again. Never our fault for playing bad or * it. Always the referees fault, the media, anything but the team and himself.

There is a point when you have to take it on the chin and accept the blame, he seems very reluctant to ever do that.

He comes across as a greeting wean, I would rather have a grown man as a manager than a moody teenager. All of the fans saying, oh, it shows he cares, he is so dedicated etc etc, that is all bollocks. Be professional, you are paid to be.

Dare I say it, seeing Sally standing at the tunnel at the end, shaking the hands of our players, I felt embarrased for our manager. Sally showed some feckin dignity there doing that.

Do you want to make this a * for tat? for and against lennon argument? cause I could say the past two years rangers have been * awful and that last year rangers were allowed to win the league with one of their worst ever teams because WE * it up....

But I don't want to take part in that argument, because I love lenny and I don't want to get labled a lenny hater because I think he's been a bit of a tool of late....
