I think he would suit our style of play as a deep lying forward beaude a goal scoring poacher if we change shape he cqn move left wing in w 4 2 3 1 or a 4 3 3 or left mid in 4 4 1 1.

My fav player and have always been team sammy

We shouldn´t punt him,he has his place in our squad and he must fight for a starting place like evryone else.

For me this season, especially in the CL he has lived off last seasons performances. Look to have no interest at times and very rarely tracked back to protect Izzaguire. Seemed very very selfish in CL also, would rather run into a wall of 3 players than play a simple pass. Even his chance in Milan, the shot just wide of the post, which was unlucky, although he should have passed it too Stokes who would have had a great chance.

Why excluding penalties? They all count and we had problems sticking away penalties for long enough, as Sammy well knows :54:

Sammy the enigma has been the most thrilling, frustrating, player I've ever seen in a Celtic top... While watching him I've laughed, almost cried with happiness and sadness, jumped for joy and been lost for words. He has been my favourite player at one point and my least favourite... But I think now it's time for him to move on, I just can't see a place for him in the team.

The way some people turn their backs on players is unbelievable.

I bet most weren't saying what they are now last season when he scored all of those goals in Europe.

What people need to remember is we were a better team as a whole last season and Sammy got great service for his goals. It's something we've lacked badly this season. Apart from the last two league games where we've been playing more free-flowing football.

The fact your picture and signature is Samaras I have a feeling you might be a bit biased.

I'm not turning my back on him, I just think the squad is better moving on without him unless he is happy with a spot on the bench.

You can't ignore his performances in Europe this season, or blame them on bad service. His performances were not only awful, his attitude was at an all time low, and I have no idea why. He has given his all for the team in the past, last season especially but this season if it didn't go his way in Europe he would take the huff!

I wouldn't necessarily start him every week. But I can't fit Kayal, Forrest, Boerrigter, Matthews in my team week in week out either, Doesn't mean he/they isn't an important member of the squad, you don't move players on, especially one as loyal as Samaras, just because you don't think they should start all the time. He is still an important player for us.

Plus with that Diamond formation we've been playing and the way it's set up, Sammy could easult slot into the left striker role, you noticed how both Pukki(Or Commons vs Heart) and Stokes have been drifting to the flanks? Sammy could play that. Comfortably.

I suggested it ... and that's all it is: a possible change of direction.

He has been with the club for awhile.

    I am not fickle.

ALL I * do in my spare time is worry about this club. Not fickle.

Don't sell Sammy!!! Don't sell Sammy!!!

He's still a key player here, especially for European nights, he'll prove that.
