And, which game in our history do you wish you were at??

 

Everybody will probably say Old Firm's so

Kilmarnock 1-2 Celtic

Celtic 1-0 Hearts

 

Either my first European game which was against Spartak that went to penalties or my first game against "them" with Naka screamer and JVOH late goal.

 

best game I have ever been to was henkes return to paradise or his last game for the club. the obvious game a wish a had seen is the champions cup final or a would have loved to been in sevilla was only 11 or 12 and my dad was going to fly us out on the day of the match but he changed his mind was raging

 

St Johnstone when we stopped 10 in a row.

Or the Juventus game.

Apart from the hunskelpin games that is.

Game I would have LOVED to see..........7 - 1 game.

 

Last season against them beating them 3-0. never felt anything like that in my life. Outhwith old firm games a couple of years back against Hearts beating them 3-2 Mcmanus goal in the last minute after a Craig Gordon howler, cannae beat it:icon_mrgreen:

I would have loved to have been there when 10 in a row was stopped, i got my season book the season after for my 21 birthday

 

Sticking with the league games only and not counting any against them the 5-0 win against St Mirren to win the league on the last day of the season in 1986.

We had to win by 3 goals or more and also hope Hearts lost. With 7 minutes left we were already 5-0 up and Hearts were still drawing 0-0 with Dundee up at Dens Park. Then it came over the radio that Kidd had scored. Initially everyone thought it must have been Walter Kidd of Hearts who had scored because the radio also announced that the Huns were going ballistic up at Easter road.

But no it was Albert Kidd for Dundee who had scored. Well as soon as that news filtered through it was our turn to go ballistic. Radio's were tuned in waiting for the final whistle up at Dens then Kidd scores was the news coming through.

Which * Kidd though? was all we wanted to know- Walter or Albert. Every Celtic fan in Love street that day feared the worst. History shows that it was Albert and from that day although he never played for us, he was a Celtic fan & that day he became a Celtic hero. Their game finished about a minute or two before ours and we knew we had won the league.

St Mirren v Celtic 1986. We won 5-0 and Hearts lost 2-0 to win the league on the last day.

I was 6 years old, there with my dad and at the end i was so tired and soaked to the bone. He carried me home on his shoulders as we lived not a 30 minute walk away from Love St.

Superb.

 

The 3-0 hunskelping last February, Hooper's second goal from Izzy's first time cross was the best goal i've ever seen in real life.

Great football, perfect result, the weather was sunny, the first hunskelping at home of the new Lenny reign, with the thunder back in the stands - was truly epic.

Think that was the 1st time we all did a stadium wide huddle and JCGE as well, just brilliant brilliant brilliant sensational amazing fantastic beautiful brilliant!

I would have loved to have been at one of the great European wins like obviously 67, or recently against Man U, or the stunning 6-2 hunskelping under MON. Imagine if we'd have had the atmosphere we've got now, in a 6-2 old firm win!!!

 

Other than OFs, beating Hearts 1-0 to win the title in Strachan's first season. Or the Inverness game this season when the GB had their silent protest.
OF games, definitely the 3-0 game last season.

 

Best game I've attended , spartack,Milan,man u or shaktar all over the last few years a toss up between them.( have had to work every Sat. for 13 years due to work so canny make most league games).

6-2 game for enjoyment. I was thinking about the St Johnstone game in 98 but I didn't really enjoy that until the second goal because of nerves.

As for games in our history that I could pick, I would pick the game at Tannadice when we won 3iar for Tommy just for the emotion of it all. I couldn't get a ticket but the fan videos of that night are brilliant. Apart from that, the obvious ones of Lisbon and 7-1.

worst was the 3-2 loss to barca, got flung out at HT for smoking in the toilet even tho there was clearly 200 other ppl smoking.

Aberdeen game we won 3-2 with a last min goal from JVoH. everyone went mental.
