Solid reliable workhorse who knows exactly what his job is in the side and does it every game to the best of his ability and does it well in nearly every game.

For a young 20 year old to command such a position as his own says a massive amount about his maturity and skill. It's no wonder scouts from other clubs are watching him very closely.

    I love the big man!

Not sure about him at CM though. Got the impression he wasnt sure who to pass to in forward positions, but I think Lenny didnt want to take him out because defensively he was doing well keeping them out. I'l need to see him there a few times before i can judge properly but I think i prefer him at CB.

Hes such a good talent hope we hold onto him, can see him maturing into a roy keane roll. Just needs to learn to pass better to set the attack in motion. * right off Pardew!!

great performance, he's really settling in well now, showed great composure on the ball last night, happy to take it on himself if the easy pass was not on. great signing.

Really starting to find his feet, looked a bit caught up in it all at times last night, but we need to remember it was his old firm debut and he is still a kid.

He is the difference from last season. When kayal went off injured we would have seriously struggled withOut wanyama but the big guy came into his own. Class is the best way to describe him

We've looked a completely more resolute operation since he became involved. Fair play, NL.

That challenge where he destroyed that ugly clown broadfoot was, the goal aside, my highlight of the match.

Showed their hatchet-men how to go in * hard and still win the ball legitimately.

Would love to see King Bill-big-baws healy on the receiving end of a big Vic reducer.

i think he is the perfect replacement for Kayal if he is injured or sold, both i do not want to see. so much so that they are a force to be reckoned with in the middle of the park.

from now on, whenever Wanyama clatters someone, i'm addressing it as a 'Big Vic Reducer'.:50:
