Everyone in the world associates Ireland and Celtic. Celtic promote this!!!! It is the first chapter in the Celtic Story.

 

it will be interesting to see if uefa allow clubs and national teams to wear a 'political symbol' on the 11th of november next year, or parading british troops through stadiums at half-time.

 

Leaving aside the hatred of the right-wing, isnt this what is happening to football everywhere? I agree it is sad to see the grass root fans being priced out but that isnt specific to celtic - it is happening at every big club.

The debate on what people can sing may be connected to this as well, but again it isnt specific to celtic. What was considered as acceptable banter in football crowds 30 years ago isnt considered acceptable nowadays.

 

I might not always get on with Ache but everything he has said in this thread has been absolutely spot on.

We shouldn't give up our heritage we should do everything in our power to preserve it.

exactly, its ok to parade troops in football grounds in the UK who murdered and maimed people for centuries in the name of politics. But its ok its done in the name of her majesty

Lawwell is the same guy who bought a Chinese player because he wanted the club to break into the Chinese market, not because the guy could play football. The sooner we accept we are not gonna rule the world and just be happy to be Celtic Football Club the better.

 

It is funny how a lot of fans on here tell us don't believe the press as they are all Celtic haters now they all seem to agree with the comments and pish that they come out with over the Europe debacle, with all the * we have had to take off them over the years, I for one would not go for any statements they made, it just makes me hate them even more up the rebels

Neil Lennon, Lawwell and Bankier seem to treat the match going fans with contempt, they are gonna weed you out if you don't agree with them and you probably can't spell according to Neil. Yet they are kissing * all over the world trying to make everyone love us even though they will probably never set foot in Celtic park its hilarious its so sinister.
