Im more * off at the fan whose now split our support and taken the gloss off a good european performance.

Even if you dont agree with the decision to fine us, the banner was childish, this has achieved sweet * all apart from splitting our support and causing us grief. And assualting a steward was absolutoly moronic.

People moan about us getting lumped in the same bracket as the filth, when people pull stunts like this are you surprised? We shouldnt be giving the media any more amo than thery already have to bring us down.

Iv stuck by Lennon through thick and thin and will continue to do so.

no one believes the GB are bigger than the celtic board but it's well known lennon would have been out on his * after the last season if it wasn't for the support he recieved

Your take on this kind of reminds me of some of the old fellas around me...they love the GB singing and the atmosphere they help to create but as soon as they do or sing something contentious their disaproval is obvious

What he's said is bang out of order.

I'm not an "Up the RA" chanter - nor do I support the "* UEFA" banner - nor do I support chemical flares (see my posts elsewhere on the dangers)

But I've seen loads of anti-UEFA banners at football matches, I seen thousands of flares at football matches, and hardly anyone batted an eyelid. Now it's apparently like some kind of international atrocity.

There's a freakin witch hunt underway against our club, and Lawwell and Lenny - who should be defending the support - are * cheerleading it!

    Unacceptable. :38:

"I love how everyone gets to have their own opinion apart from the guy with the * UEFA banner"

    Fixed that for you.

Well said, the board and manager should be concerning themselves with restoring our reputation on the park, something they have failed to do for some time now.

I don't think Lenny should have made such a public statement in that manner. All it has done is divide the support even further. We've seen enough evidence of that here and I dare say in other forums, pubs & clubs.

The banner issue has been done to death but what is concerning to me is why one of our own stewards was attacked? Is that true or media sensationalism? We may need to wait until one of the Bhoys who were there and who witnessed the incident to get more details, but I do find it hard to fathom why if true he was attacked in the first place.

Let me get this right... Lenny has to sell his soul to the Green Brigade, the RA sympathizers / empathizers and the obnoxious banner writers because they have previously supported him through hard times! Get a grip! He's a man... not a * sheep!

As for your assertion on him 'misjudging the mood of the support'... go and start a poll and we'll see what happens! Oh wait... we don't really need to because in almost every poll on subjects like these it's usually a 70-30 split against you and your like!

    Absolutely.

In one corner we have the up the ra, * the board, * the SFA, * UEFA, * tha police coming straight from the underground, * anyone who'll listen, confrontation-seeking idiots.

In the other corner we have the fans who simply want to support our great club without tarnishing our good name.

I know which corner I'm in.

bollocks mate this a * forum not the whole celtic support. The way lennon has turned on the GB is quite shocking considering they were being praised by the same people who are now criticising them 9 months ago. I'm afraid lennon is starting to look more and more like a yes man

In what way do you think there is a witchhunt going on? Stupid fans sing songs about terrorists - they make the news. Stupid fans rip on British soldiers in Britain during a rememberence weekend - it makes the news. We go to Italy, pick a fight with UEFA, chuck flares and assault a steward- that is surely going to make news! Leaving aside the right and wrong of the actions, of course these are things that the media will jump all over. The people behind these silly stunts play to it to make sure the get the attention they crave.

We all know celtic and rangers make the news for right and wrong reasons. This self indulgent contingent just give the tabloids ammo to print stuff. I can see why this annoys Lennon and the board, and the majority of fans who (call me old fashioned) are primarily interested in the game of football.

    * it, I'm with Neil Lennon on this one.

You could have had any banner that expressed discontent. 'No to the fine', 'our right to speak' etc. But no - what we got was '* UEFA'.

The sentiment is fine - the manner in which it was expressed was not. We deserve punishment for the wording alone.

... and another thing! I keep hearing that the club will rue the day that you and your likes withdraw your support. Tell you what... seeing as you're all revolutionaries, give it a go! Stay away from the game and see what difference your absence makes! I'll bet it makes very little!

Quit your whining about how you've been betrayed and get on with supporting the team... PROPERLY!

Of course you're not taking into consideration who tarnished our name and why we have still to be properly informed as to why is was deemed to be worthy of tarnishing. You may recall that even the Scottish football authorities did not deem it worthy of punishment. A mere couple of days before Uefa did.
