Those fans just stuck the knife right into the club and the vast majority of fans last night after the recent media hype surounding the last issue with uefa, timing of this and lack of thought for the rest of us shows the selfish nature of this stupidity ,no wonder lenny has a thick jibe at the banner.

Im starting to get annoyed at the political stand and always having to appear self righteous and arrogant towards law or any form of control, and before anyone has a dig about there being nothing wrong with our songs , that maybe so in our eyes but we all tend to forget tat these laws started of the back of us complaining about the famine song , ok rightly so ,but we were never gonna get it all our own way.

Some need to grow tje * up and demonstrate the politics in any other venue other than cp as this is gonna start to divide us all when the club gets hurt .

Having a childish dig at supporters that backed you when times where tough (that had nothing to do with said childish banner) is equally if not more childish.

To be fair, the spelling comment could have been missed out, but wasnt it only because the poppy protest banner had a spelling mistake?

It was precisely because he spoke his mind that he went through all the * last year. He was threatened because people who disagreed with his views wanted him silenced. Now that he's disagreeing with you you withdraw your support?

I'm 100% with you Sween. The whole affair is sickening. I just wanna enjoy watching my team play valiantly in Italy and get geared up for the 28th. That is what a Celtic fan should be concerned with if I do say so myself.

Lenny is right - yes this is a minority but it's the minority that has let us down.

Why go all the way there to display a banner light a flare and attack a steward?

Surely the fans should be going to support the team?

I am sick of certain so called "fans" putting themselves before the club. This is the club that we all love.

Yes everyone is angry at the UEFA fine, but surely the best way to say "F*** UEFA" would be to prove how fantastic our fans actually are? Like we have done for so many years.

Oh deary me,* Uefa, and we are in uproar ? Seriously i think we have better things to be concerned about..i.e the state of our squad.

No big deal in this banner for fucksake,it is a football crowd afterall, people seem to be finding things of a minor nature very offensive lately.

Very cuntish comment from Lennon about the spelling.

He may have the audacity to speak his mind but just sometimes I think a man in his position should just learn to keep his mouth shut.

No you're right, the last thing on Tommy's will was for the fans of his beloved club to turn against each other and drag that beloved name through Rangers-esque dirt.:97::38:

When anybody on this forum goes through as much *, just because of little old football, as Lennon has been through - then and only then can you have a go at him.

We can disagree with Lenny on things like team selection, tactics etc, but on a personal tone when discussing things like this I fail to see how anybody of Celtic persuasion can be anything less than supportive to Lenny.

Look how much he's fought to try and get the club to a successful place in the league and Europe, and I can fully understand why he's feeling * off at some people seemingly messing it all up.

I would hate for all his troubles, and all the hard work of the teams and the fans over the past 18 months, I would HATE for that to all be in vain. :38:

I hope the GB don't get chucked out or bollocked for this because there's maybe about 20 of them who do controversial stuff, the rest are brilliant and create the best atmosphere in Britain.

And btw the * about flares is rubbish, Italian, Spanish, Eastern Europeans all of them do flares every single game. Rangers did it at the last OF at Celtic Park - don't thing they got done. No-one gets done for flares unless they throw them onto the actual pitch. So if we gt done for that then I will join you lot saying * UEFA! But either way we shouldn't be turning on each other. Our "enemies" are laughing whilst this * could spill over onto our team's performances, :38: * that, i'm not hving that happen.

So this behaviour is acceptable? We have to condone it or UEFA will punish us even harder. If you are seen to be doing nothing about it the punishments are even more severe.

Finally Celtic fans grow some BALLS, still we wouldn't get that kind of belief at Celtic Park. Good on those boys, Shame on you Lenny!

Can't understand why the fans aren't able to express themselves in whatever fashion they feel is fair. Who is Neil to say they're a disgrace?

I want to live in a world where everyone is free to speak. So little tolerance in the game.

I'm not in the GB or anything like that but I stOOd by him last week. Every tim I know that goes to the games did.

The GB aren't the be all and end all of the Celtic support. The atmosphere is brilliant but that doesn't give them license to do what they want.

    Stick to the singing.
