Very disappointed in him,if we have to shed a midfielder it has to be him

 

Ki has certainly not been up to much since about the third game of the season. I said at the time I thought he was over rated but there is a player in there and hopefully he'll be back on form soon. At the other end of the spectrum is Sammy, what a player he has been the last few games! Total turn around in attitude and performance.
Gotta say Celtic deserved to get at least a draw but Madrid defended really well all night long and we didn't. We played better at the back than we have for a while but still too many stupid pass backs and half hit headed clearances, make life difficult for ourselves at times.

 

When will we have a good defence again?

 

How bad is Ki playing right now, absolutely hopeless tonight.

Ki was rotten tonight

 

look dont start with this * . KI WAS TERRIBLE . burley said it himself worst performance in a celtic shirt.

 

He was * tonight, to be fair. I'm one of his fans as well but he was rotten.

 

Unlucky overall tonight, chances were falling to the wrong guys.

Ki couldn't put a foot right, awful.

 

We played good, had lots chances to win it, just not enough clinical finishing and Kayal's mistake cost us. Ki wasn't so bad as is everybody typing here. He had one of best chances with his freekick and from his corners we were very dangerous.

 

one win away from qualification is not a bad outcome at all from such a hard group!

And as said already, Sammy was again unplayable at times tonight. Ki had a shocker, Loovens and Dan were solid, Matthews was shaky at times and Stokes was fairly quiet.
Overall though, a respectable team performance.

 

see if mulgrew was fine to play ? why wasnt he either in cb , or at lb and ledley in the middle ?

 

Sammy has been my favourite player since we signed him, and now i won't be ridiculed any more after another solid performance.

 

2020?

 

When he is on form he is way above SPL class. At the very least he has probably put an extra million on his valuation. Spanish clubs were sniffing around him before.

Probably when we get rid of the defensive deadwood (Loovens and Majstorovic) and replace them with quality.

Rogne, Wanyama, Wilson and Mulgrew are all good central defenders in their own right, but Maj and Glenn just let the side down all the time.

 

Ki is not *, but today he played *.(He was not the only one for that matter!) We are still in this we need to win in Italy!

 

Very proud of that performence, we didn't deserve to lose tonight. The players gave everything. Samaras was brilliant today, same goes for Loovens. Stupid goal to concede with Kayal ducking out the way.

We're still in it though. A win in Italy takes us through, and if we play like we did today there's no reason why we can't do it
