Stupid of Lennon to react. He needs to keep a cool head and focus on the tasks in hand. The fans are right to be a bit * off, we dominated the game and in the second half a lot of players very clearly took their foot off the gas, its Lennons job to make sure that DOESNT happen.

if we had not won i could understand the abuse.
but at this moment the manager and team need support.
the league was all but over a few weeks ago and despite
injuries to key players we have got back in the race.
Jock Stein used to say the fans were the 12th man,
its time some "supporters" remember this.

Lennon really does not help himself.....next thing will be the fan in the papers or on sky news telling all.
He should be above this sort of *....fans pay good money and they have the right to cheer or moan....its not like the games are free.

Lots of fans at CP have forgotten that. the green brigade (whilst being a bit misguided at times) at least back the team to the hilt. some fans think we have the divine right to be winning every match by 4 goals.........whilst neil shouldnt have reacted to the fan or fans....those clowns who barracked him should have left the stadium happy we again won and clawed back some points instead of bumping their two IQ points together.

    I'm not picky.
    Exactly :50:

He gets abuse when we lose, and he gets abuse when we win. He just can't win with some people and I think he has every right to defend himself on this one, especially due to the fact that we WON. It wasn't a pretty win in the end but a win is still a win.

By the end of Sunday we could be only 4 points behind Hun FC. A BIG difference to this time last week and he still gets abuse by some fans :87: Some people are never happy unless we were to win with style week in, week out and even then they would still have their digs and something to moan about.

I can also remember the fat * in charge of the huns giving his own fans abuse. the huns were struggling against the hearts and smith the myth put on young andrew little as a sub instead of a more experienced player...and the hun dugout took pelters.......Little popped up on the stroke of fulltime whistle and scored the winner....and the fat * turned on the supporters and gave em dogs abuse.

See if it were really that serious, the papers would have caught on and printed some scandal story.
Think this is a nothing story imo

the fans entitled to moan as he/she has paid good money.

lennon's entitled to defend his players as he's the manager.

another non story blown out of proportion by the red tops and, shockingly, some on here have bought into it also.

"Neil Lennon in defending team shocker"

If Gordon Strachan did this there would be people calling for his head.

Unprofessional and at the end of the day yes last night was a good performance in the first half but it was another case of players switching off thinking the game was won.

If that had been a better team they could have punished us in the last 10 minutes with two late goals and got something out of the game lucky for us they were not a good team.

But imagine if we had dominated a game like that against the Huns and they went on to grab two last minute goals.

The majority of support have backed the team 110% considering what * ups we have made the past 3 years if you pay a small fortune to go to games you have the right to voice your opinion be it good or bad.

personally i * love the fact Lennon reacted,to me that shows passion and the fact he gets frustrated too, something that a lot of current players should take a look it

sorry mate but id argue lennon sticking up for his team was totally professional. he might have went about it in a different way but how else is he meant to communicate with someone in the stand during the game?

this is a non story, lennon has done absolutely nothing wrong imo.

As any manager worth his salt would do :50:

Like * should he sit and twiddle his thumbs when there is abuse coming from the stands.

The cameras are on lenny all the time, the guy cant take a * without a story being written.
The press want rid of lenny, they couldnt bare the thought of lenny lifting this seasons spl title.
The huns are in dire *,come january they will be in administration, why no broken crest, why no hearse outside ibrox, because the scottish press are brogue wearers like the cheeky chappie.
They say we are paranoid, they have been saying it for years and years, even when wee fergus proved the sfa where up to no good, they still said we where paranoid.
get behind lenny,we are on the road to recovery, come saturday night we willbe 4 points behind, its been a great turnaround ,we can do this, believe
