It's hardly a hatred for McCourt - it was a valid point. We had a thread on here recently which actually said we had too many 'quality' midfielders and need to sell - *! We moan that we don't sign quality or produce quality and then when we do we can't sell them on quick enough. I agreed with the point - Forrest is a far better player than McCourt yet no one ever wants Paddy to leave - I'm not saying I do but I ust don't understand the drive to sell when we have a good player - 0 ambition.

Forrest wont leave for under £10million anyway imo

Forrest to Bayern in June 2013 to replace Ribery or Robben :celt_2: I can see him even more than McGeady signing for a foreign team.

I dont think we would, £7million isnt a lot. Would probably cost you £15million to sign Hoilett from Blackburn and Forrest is better than him, even Albrighton from Villa would cost about £10million, even Johnson from Man City would cost about £15million. Neither of those 3 are better than Forrest.

Hoilett and Johnson are better but I know what you mean - it wouldnt make sense to sell now - it'd be like collecting something for ten years then selling it when you don't need to despite the fact that if you kept it for 30 years you'd treble the value! We can afford not to sell just now, he is a good player with loads of potential and will be worth a lot more in years to come.

    I'm not picky.
Is there ANY other player you criticise because the way you go on it's as if the team is full of McCourt's.

You do nothing but * moan about McCourt at any given opportunity, even in a thread about IF we sold James Forrest. So far this season Bangura (till he was injured) has been * yet where are your digs at him? Where are your digs at Commons, who has sucked BIG time this season as well? Loovens? Maj? Need I go on?

Where the * did he say anything against the Scottish in his posts? :97:

Yesterday you said "The Irish are all so * arrogant". If that's not saying anything against the Irish then I don't know what is.

    Your anti-Irish is hun-*-believable.

He made a completely valid point about people not wanting to sell mccourt yet want to sell Ki in an instant who is a far better player, what exactly was wrong with his initial statement? nothing, reeks again of people reading what they want to read rather than actually reading what was said.

At the moment I agree with you that Johnson is better but Forrest is a class above Hoilett, never really been that impressed by him.

Where did I criticise McCourt? All I said was why do many fans want arguably two of our best players sold but not a reserve player.

I would disagree that Ki is a much better player than McCourt, I've never rated him at all, far to lightweight for a two man midfield. It would be best if he was sold, we could gain some funds that could be invested in a center back and we would have a stronger midfield for it. McCourt will never be a starter for us but selling him would be rather pointless because we wouldn't gain anything from it, he is one of our lowest earners and we wouldn't get much of a transfer fee. He is useful as an impact sub and should be kept.

So mike what your saying is it would be better to sell one of our top first team players but keep a player who struggles to get on the bench?

We get a youngster coming through the ranks and he breaks into the first team and proves he can carry his weight at this level and possibly beyond.

What do some people do? Put a price tag on him.

Why not a thread saying , how many goals do you think Forrest will have scored for Celtic by the time he is 30. Ahhhh much better :50:
