We don't seem to have any money when it comes to the type of players we actually need.

was never gonna happen, even if we made the champs league.

just can't see us offering anywhere near as much as huddersfield want, even if he is a big celtic man.

besides i daresay we have more targets than simply rhodes, and probably better value for money; if we can find gems like kayal, wanyama, matthews etc there's really no need to go round splashing the cash unless it's for someone really good

I can't see him joining Blackburn. He's too sensible to join them, read his interviews all he cares about is football and progressing himself in the game. He would be an absolute idiot to join that mess. Just look what happened to Goodwillie.

We have that and more. We're a very similar club to Arsenal in how we're run, though. Business comes first. Not stupid expensive transfers.

No chance now. Will go to a bidding war in England.

That has been the general take on it all summer, and the lad is still a Huddersfield player. We'll wait and see. The likes of Blackburn and such are in no better shape than us...*, they're worse off, I'd say.

There is no way in a million years the acture transfer fee is £6.5 million not a chance.

It has to be around £4 million odd.

I would go to Huddersfield with a few deals:

If we sell Ki i'd go £5 million straight up.

£4 million with £1.5-2million if we make the group stages of the champions league

    £4 million + Daryl Murphy

£3million + Tony Stokes if he would go

All with % of next sales.

Serious dont think Huddersfield could reject any of those bids.

And if they dont happen then bid £5 million of John Guidetti of Man City.

Yeah, i hope he pushes for a move to us. Just makes me mad that Clubs like Hull, Blackburn can outbid us. If we get into the CL i can see him pushing for us

Man, Blackburn are a * nonsense. Would almost be a step backwards if he went there.

Can't stand them, went in the home end for the game in 2003. Was funny as * seeing a bunch of farmers kicking off on lads from Sighthill and Ruchazie. Wigan might be a good fit for him if he don't come here

Huge backwards step for him going to Blackburn. hope he rejects it and stays at Huddersfield.

What makes you think any club would take Bangura off us?

Are we even still interested? We haven't been credited with any interest in a long time. Shame because we can compete with the money and clubs being talked about, especially if we sell Ki and/or qualify for the CL. This window will most likely be our last chance to sign him for about ten years.

    Grayson's latest comments

“Jordan has a hamstring strain,” explained Simon. “He came back from Scotland on the Thursday morning and after travelling down with us he felt that it was tight. He went for an MRI scan in Cardiff this afternoon and it showed that he had a Grade 1 tear, which will only leave him unavailable for five to seven days. It will be 50/50 whether he plays against Nottingham Forest but he should be ok for Burnley. We could have patched him up and thrown him out there but that would have risked him missing three to four weeks. There will be plenty of speculation as to why he didn’t play, but believe me isn’t going anywhere."

Think people might be reading too much into him not playing yest. Would be amazed if he went to Blackburn. The way Steve Kean has gone about his business (publicly trying to unsettle Jordan) has really * off Dean Hoyle, just cant see him selling him to those clowns.

Well, if you disagree then how about you educate us as to why it isn't?

Huddersfield to Blackburn is a step up. They would also pay him more wages I'd suspect and they have ambitions to get back into premiership....where most players want to be.

If you mean from Celtic, well it's not any step as he's never been here and as far as I'm aware we've not bid for him.

    I'm going to say..

We wont buy a striker, just a CB. We will try to blood Watt in the first team, which I really don't mind. As long as Watt plays before Murphy and Bangura.
