Could help us somewhat but would think we need to show some interest soonish. Maybe not an offer but speak to his agent to alert him to us monitoring the situation. We probably have enough to cover the 4 million but would struggle to go too far over that I reckon. However if we stay top of the league and open up some distance between us and Rangers, Champions League football would be an attracting proposition.

Him being a Celtic fan has gave us a glimmer of hope.

just cant see it folks. Huddersfield will not be letting this lad go on the cheap and I just cant see us risking 5 mill or so on league one player, which is what he will go for with the prem clubs sniffing about.

Never knew he was a Celtic fan so I suppose that gives us some hope but these days money talks and you can't blame him if he decides to chase the big money now.

That's not always the best thing career wise for such a young player. Realistically though I very much doubt we will spend anything like £4 Million on anyone this window. Time will tell though.

Personally I don't see him coming to us, Celtic fan or not. Isn't like 6 EPL teams after him?

I think he is like stokes and hooper, we need a striker that offers us something diffrent.

Dont think lenny is intrested in him anyway, if i had the choice would take Baba, but we all know we will get someone in on loan.

:56: could be a very useful way of getting players!

Players goes on the market, we say we are not interested, price goes out, Lawell goes down the bookies and lumps on, sign him, collect, Fee sorted :50::50:

What i will mention is that wycombe were absolutely horrifyingly terrifyingly *. Lennon could have scored a few against them last night they were that bad.

If he comes to Celtic great. If he goes to Man U then great for Scotland.

Had a feeling that we may have been able to get him. However after watching him score five last night (even if it was against a pile of pish) then I dont think we will be able to secure this one now.

Him apparently being a tim gives us a glimmer of hope mind you!

I've not given up on him yet.

I can't see us losing money, even if we have to pay £5m or so. The lad is going to be Scotland's no.9. I know that doesn't mean a lot, to a lot of people, but i still like to see national players in the hoops.

I can only hope there is someone pushing for this one behind the scenes.:50:

...not gonna happen. He banged in 5 goals last night and is elbowing aside Van Persie as the current top goal scorer in England... there were about 8 EPL scouts there last night watching him... anyone who thinks he's on the way to the hoops now is deluded, imo, with the greatest respect.
